What is in the locket: Two four leaved clovers.

Why: She found these while walking in a field, she had tripped and landed right in front of them. Silver had always been very clumsy leading her to believe that she was cursed with bad luck. When she fell in front of the two four leaved clovers she thought by picking them they might bring her good luck. Unfortunately that didn't happen, she was still clumsy and fell flat on her face. In time she realized that she wasn't cursed and the clovers had become very important to her, as a good memory and as a belief that they might save her one day, and she decided to keep them.

The leaf and the flower remind her that even though some things may scare her, she can stand unshaken
