Why you chose song 1;; I chose ''Me too'' for song one because, Eridan has a sense of vanity were he admires himself because he really had no one else to talk to or admire. So one day he came to liking and admiring himself more.

Why you chose song 2;; I chose '' Run and go '' for song two because, Once Eridan lost his arm he had no choice but to leave the area. He found a safe spot for himself and once he did something dissolved in the water. He picked the soggy sheet up and it was a page saying, " Hunting for merman offering a good amount of money for him! Find him and please return to... " Then the number was plastered.

Why you chose song 3;; I chose " Aishite, Aishite " for song 3 because everyone Eridan ever loved left him. He was on his own. He was very upset which caused him to be very distressed and upset about his life. Aishite means Love me. He just wants someone to love other than himself.

Why you chose song 4;; I chose " On my own " for song four because Eridan was little and everyone left him and abandoned him. His parents told him to count because they were playing hide and seek. He agreed starting to count. When he hit 50 he looked around for his parents realizing that they left him alone. He cried and cried. He didn't understand why they left him.

How they lost their arm? ; Eridan lost his arm when he was swimming in a nearby beach. A fisherman saw him soon taking out a harpoon. He shouted, " MERMAN! " Then right after he shouted they shot the harpoon at Eridan. Eridan shouted, bubbles flowing out of his mouth as he realized that the harpoon had shot off his arm. He clenched his arm sinking down in the bottom down to the beach floor. He looked up as the boat passed above him and Eridan ended up with no arm. He now always avoids fishermen and boats.

Why you chose song 1

Umi often has memories in his childhood house, with his parents, and his siblings. The house has kinda grown on him, and when his parent's were ready to move, he bought the house from them. He took care of it, knowing that he had his childhood house with him, remembering all the good times he had when he was little in it, seeing the little measure marks on the wall since when he was little, walking into his room, the room where he had so many sleepovers in. The room where he played with his siblings, memories were coming back. (100/100)

Why you chose song 2

Umi often had a hard time finding out his personality, and who he was. He often also got bullied in his school, so it was harder for him to focus on things, and to take the time to find himself period. He barely talked to anyone, and stayed almost as a mindless dummy. He was shy, and awkward. When people went to talk to him, he would run off in fears of being judged. He tried his hardest to make everyone happy and satisfied with him, but it just wasn't working, so he kept changing himself. It never worked. (99/100)

Umi was starting to redevelop his life, as he began to gain more friends, but people still tried to smooth him down and control him. He would just laugh it off, and try not to let them get to him. He would smile, and look at them. He almost felt like they were holding strings. He eventually made friends with these people that tried to control him, and they apologized, and some of them are still good friends to this day. (81/100)

Umi found someone he loved, and he didn't want them to leave him, so he tried everything in his power to get them to stay. They were the light of his life. Then they left him, and he was heart-broken. So he tried his best to find someone like them, but he couldn't. But then he found one, that he loves to this day. Ally was her name, and she loves him as much as he loves her. He found the one he would love for eternity. (87/100)


Umi lost his arm when he heard his mother was in the hospital, and they were about ready to cut off her very injured arm. Umi, took the sacrifice to get his arm cut off for his mother. So she could have an arm. He'd rather her be happy than him to have his arm. So, they continued through the operation explaining to him that he had a 2% chance of living, and he survived. When his mother woke up Umi's arm was stitched on where they had to remove hers, and Umi had a stub on where they took off his. His mother cried and hugged him, as she told him he didn't have to do it. He responded, "I did it for you." as he hugged her with his one arm. A big sacrifice just for his mother made him loose an arm. All just for her.
