Bonno and his previous owner, Joy, were as close as a girl and a long dog could get. The two of them always played fetch together with that very ball. As Joy grew older she barely had time to play with Bonno as she got busier with her studies. Bonno kept that ball close for many years to come as a memory of all the love he one received from her.

Why do they love their ball so much?: Let's just say that long ears aren't exactly the best for sports like football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, lacrosse, or any sport really. Miller always trips over his ears as they pick up dirt and mud and trail twigs and leaves along. This has been a huge blow on Miller since he was just a wee long puppy. But, his family and friends found a solution for him! They gave him this special Swiss gym ball and Miller finds it endlessly entertaining—especially by the fact that the exercises he does on it don't cause his ears to get in the way and when he's not using it to work out, it's a nicely therapeutic-feeling type chair he likes to sit on when at his desk doing homework and whatnot. Plus, since it's special, it can also somehow deflate to a smaller travel-size form for when Miller takes it with him on the go.

Why do they love their ball so much?: the ball was there when promise needed them, and promise was there for the ball too. the ball was supportive when promise didn't have a place to call home, and so the ball helped them grt an owner by helping others realize promise is just a wonderful dog, not a worthless long dog. they know a lot of tricks with it, as well, and have never found another ball that has the balancing powers that that specific ball gives them.

He loves his ball so much because its the only thing he can really understand. His ball is like no other. Tucker saw the ball in a small bush when exploring outside. He didn't know what it was at the time, so he thought is was either another dog or another animal. He barks at the ball, hearing little voices inside him like the ball is talking to him. he protects his ball and it protects him. His ball, has been with him since the beginning!
