So when he happened to chomp into some chili peppers, rather than being deterred from the heat, he ended up falling in love with the taste sensations! Now, Rusty absolutely loves anything and everything spicy, so long as there's a water trough nearby, in case he happens to singe his tastebuds.

The sweet taste brings him even sweeter memories of his young, calf days. Gingersnap would always sneak into the strawberry patch and nimble up some of the strawberries. After the first few, he would feel really bad and leave, but he clearly didn't feel that bad because he did it every year until he left that farm. Sometimes, Gingersnap will eat Chocolate covered strawberries too, but, well, that's a different story..
