Maori lives up to the meaning of her name. She is extremely brave and independent and doesn't need to rely on anybody for help.
Otherwise, Maori is extremely adventurous. She has always loved to go on adventures through the woods behind her tiny house, and jump stones to get across the creeks. She loves the woods because they give her some alone time just to think and be herself. Maori is also very wise. She is wise mainly because she is very observative. She can easily listen to a kalon for about five minutes, and walk away knowing about ten different things about them.

𝓞𝓭𝒆𝓵𝓲𝓪 is of noble blood, and most would say that she is the nearest to royalty
you can get before you actually are royalty. She is honest to a fault, never lying - a
lthough perhaps that’s because she’s an absolutely horrible liar. Unfortunately, wi
th her honesty comes the very blunt truths she tells. Although she’s good at telling
the truth, she doesn’t really have a filter to what she says otherwise. If she doesn
’t like you, she has no quarrel in telling you So.
Because of her absolute honesty, It’s a bit hard for Odelia to make friends, not tha
t she would really want to. Others find her to be aggravating to be around, of cour
se, they could never say such things about such a noble person. Getting in good fav
or with Odelia’s family is hard enough as is, let alone if you are actively their sole
daughter’s enemy. Of course, it doesn’t help for you to lie about liking Odelia. De
spite her own horrible lying abilities, Odelia has a pretty keen sense of truth seeki
ng. She’s very good at telling when others are lying to her, although not so much a
s to have perfected the skill. If you lie to Odelia, though, it’s likely that she does k
now. And there is nothing Odelia hates more than a liar.
To get in good favor with Odelia, and as a result, her family, you must not lie to h
er. She likes people who have opinions, otherwise they’re just boring. And that’s a
nother thing, as well. Odelia hates being bored, but she often is, which definitely
puts her in a sour mood. The easiest way to keep Odelia interested in you is to hav
e loud opinions and not be afraid to share them.
Odelia is fairly smart, which is to be expected when your parents put so much time
and money into your education, but she does have a bit of trouble grasping a “pea
sant’s” concepts. I mean, really, who would ever willingly drink instant coffee? An
d who would want to work hours for hardly any money? They’re just such strange t
hings to Odelia, but it’s something she doesn’t understand, which is why it interest
s her to no end. Even still, she doesn’t exactly enjoy talking to “commoners”.
Because of how rude she comes off, and the way she treats those who bore her, O
delia has a pretty wide-reaching reputation of being stuck up. Of course, it’s not a
s if she can deny it, but she’s not exactly a fan of the title.

Before

“You know, they all say that you look like a princess.” It wasn’t meant to be any kind of jest, surely, but Odelia merely ignored
the seriousness of this comment. Who cared what they thought? They were all so boring.. There was not one interesting thing
about any of them. They were all boring liars who only wanted to try to please her. She could tell that they hated her, or at the
very least they disliked her, so what was the point in pretending they didn’t? At least if they did that they would be interesting…

“They’re a bunch of idiots. They only say that because they think it will make me like them. And it won’t.” Her statement was
direct, only the sincerest from her. He wasn’t taken aback by it at all. In fact, at this point, he expected the blunt honesty. She
couldn’t lie, after all. She refused to.

“Ah, always yourself, Miss Odelia. Just one more picture before we wrap up. They are right, though, you know. Miss Odelia,
you really do look like a princess.” The way he spoke was so full of childish innocence, a sort of playfulness that very few could
achieve. Even though she couldn’t lie herself, she could tell that he wasn’t lying. What he said was what he thought was true.
That’s what she liked about him. Of course, just like she couldn’t hide how she felt about others, she also couldn’t hide her blush
at his compliment, either.

“You’re better than them. You can tell the truth.” She gave the smallest smile to him, a rarity for anyone else to see. She liked
him a lot. He was always telling her the truth with that childish innocence of his.

“Aww, Miss Odelia, please. There’s no need for such kind words.” He sent her back a gigantic smile as he took the last photo.
“Alrighty then, you’re all good Miss Odelia. Why don’tcha go play with your friends now? I’m sure they’d love to play a little
bit.” Once again he sent her that big smile, making her smile the slightest bit in return.

“You know they’re not my friends. Thanks, though.” She hopped off of her seat, walking over to her parents who were watching
over her so called “friends”, looking back at him once more as he packed up and left, waving him goodbye once he finished
packing and left the house.


Now

“Miss Dracori, you look absolutely lovely today. The photographer is here again to take a few pictures, if it’s not too much of a
bother.” The butler stood at the end of the stairs, addressing Odelia as she got to the bottom.

“If I must.” She spoke simply, with a bored and uninterested tone in her voice. She sighed as he led her over to where the
pictures were being taken, taking her seat as the photographer talked to the butler for a second before addressing her.

“Hello, Miss Dracori. I suppose you already know why I’m here, then?” He asked, smiling at her. His smile was so.. fake.
Why even bother smiling if it wasn’t sincere? And his tone was disgustingly condescending. Did he take her for a third grader?

“If you would be so kind, just take whatever pictures you need and then leave. I do not need someone like you in this household
for longer than necessary.” Her blunt speech seemed to hit him, his smile becoming a little more aggravated as she spoke.

“Of course, Miss Dracori,” He spoke through clenched teeth, “It would be my pleasure.” What a liar.. why even bother lying
right now, it’s obvious that you’re lying anyway.. She thought about him, her face disinterested and turned from the camera.

“If you could be a dear and look towards the camera, Miss Dracori-” He started, but cut himself off as she turned towards him,
her face still with the same disinterested look as before. I miss him… he was so much better than this liar. I wonder why he
had to leave…

As she thought, she looked up, her paw guided to her chin, although perhaps that was just out of boredom. Truly, though,
anything was better than this.
