"Oh come on Helios, please?"
Ida gave her nephew a pleading gaze, as if this really, really mattered to her, and the male stared at her before sighing, and shaking his head - he was defeated, he couldn't keep saying no to her.
She was rather persuasive.
"Alright aunt Ida, but not right now...mum will kill me if she knows that I let you do this." he murmured, sorting his weapons into their right places. "After I'm done here, which will be a few hours."
Ida was almost tempted to plea for more time to get his costume ready, but decided that the little time she would have would be enough, and she just grinned, patting his head before making her way off.
Helios could only stare helplessly at the blade he held...why had he agreed in the first place?
Upon finishing with his work, Helios left, only to be seemingly attacked by a white sheet on his first step out, causing him to jump and yell...what was this?
"Calm down Helios, its your costume!"
He fell calmer at that, allowing his aunt to straighten the costume until he was peering out of two cut-out holes. It took him a few moments to notice, but then he scowled.
"A bed sheet for a ghost costume? Really? Is this the best you can do."
"Well not really, but you left me no time so this will have to do." Ida pointed out, patting his head. "I think you make a very charming ghost, I don't think you could scare anyone away with that attitude."
Helios felt a little cross at the remark, but simply shook his head before smiling. "I can scare twice as many kids as you have in your lifetime, old lady."
"H-hey!" Ida stomped her foot on the ground as he slyly ran off, her ears flat. But seeing the bed sheet disappear into the darkness, she only shook her head. Then again, she wasn't the one who was currently a ghost.
She also wasn't that old...was she?

"One of these days, you know your whole family is going to get you back, right?"
Ida stared at the...well, the not-so-impressed face of her cousin Kankurō, and she gave an amused sneer. "Oh dear cousin, they can try...but I doubt they know anything that can get to me."
Kan had to sit still as Ida continued to paint...well, something on his fur. It felt weird, and he tried to look. "What are you doing-"
"Don't look! Bad." Ida gave the younger wolf a tap on the nose and his ears flicked back before he whined.
"Oh come on its just some stupid costume, I have work and a family to get back to-"
"Shhhhh! I'm concentrating. This is truely going to be a piece of art...although you can't really tell yet, it will."
Kan was forced to sit in complete silence - even when his legs started to hurt from not moving around.
But finally, after a few hours, it was all complete.
Ida got him to stand up and look in the mirror, where it looked as if Ida has made all his fur turn black, or at least darker, much to his horror. There were bones painted on his arms, and a skull on his face. In white.
"You're a skeleton! This has to be the one that took me the most- hey where are you going?!"
Ida called after him as he stormed off. "I can't go out in public like this, dress up yourself for once!"
He seemed to be pretty angry at her...nonetheless, she followed and tried to convince him it was a good costume...that may or may not take a few weeks to completely wash out.

"And what are you suppose to be?"
Draco narrowed his eyes at the questioning Maui, before he gave a huff, crossing his arms.
"A big bat. Can't you see the wings?"
The smaller wolf simply tilted his head, but shrugged. "Minimal work, but it'll have to do...are you ready to head off?"
Draco had no clue why he had agreed to go trick-or-treating with this kid...who was not so much a kid, just stunted in growth. For tonight, he was dressed as some sort of creature - while he knew the name of the cat and reptile-type creature, he couldn't get the name on the tip of his tongue.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Let's go."
And the two headed outside the house, closing the door behind them as they were to begin their...fun experience.
-
"Maybe we should prank them? Come on sis, it'll be fun!"
Alexandra cast a concerned look towards her brother, who was grinning. "But we'd have to put something on your nose so they don't see it glowing."
"Are you sure this will be ok, Joseph? What if they don't like tricks..."
"Well too bad, they're getting one anyway. Why did I have to come with you instead of Vlad."
The pup crossed her arms as Joseph got everything prepared, eyes bright as he have made the mixture...caramel and a bunch of other sticky liquids, and she was given the feathers to throw on them afterwards. She didn't want to do this.
"Oh brighten up Alex, it'll be fun!" her brother insisted, and as their targets came closer, she only shook her head.
"Well, when it comes to you I don't have a choice. But I'll be telling our mums and dad...are you ready to do it, then?"
-
"This night is as peaceful as ever."
Draco only rolled his eyes as Maui attempted to make conversation...sure, the smaller wolf was his...well, 'friend', if you could even call it that...but sometimes he really wished he had never met him. So much for wanting silence.
"I guess." Draco muttered gruffly...but as the male heard running footsteps, his bat ears swiveled up...what was that?
It was too late to tell before some sort of liquid was thrown on them, Maui yelping in surprise.
"Throw the feathers on them!"
Their sight was blinded as feathers were thrown at them, sticking to their now sticky coats, and the culprits ran off, one giggling while the other cast an apologetic look in the direction of the two struggling.
"...it wasn't that fun, idiot."

"This is going to be the best costume...the best I've done yet, I bet."
Ida was talking to herself as she stuck something bright to the felt beneath her paws. "The others will see this is a great idea...I'm not crazy for dressing everyone up."
She only scoffed at her own words, holding the costume up and smiling slightly. "The big, bad dragon...heh, wonder if I can get this thing to breath actual fire? I could try to scare Min with it."
She decided to try it on. A perfect fit, and her eyes lit up. "Now to make the mask...best costume ever."
By the time she was finished, it was completely dark outside, only the moonlight providing any light to see. Ida was still inside, adding on the finishing touches when there was a knock at the front door. From here, she could hear the squeaky voices of pups, and she gave a sly grin.
This probably wasn't a good idea, to scare children...but she had to have some fun with this, she couldn't let all her hard work go to waste.
Making sure everything worked, she headed to the door, waiting a moment before swinging it open. A device that had been put into it let out a roar of a dragon - downloaded from online, and the three little pups at the door screamed, turning and bolting...their parent didn't look all too happy.
Whoops.
