The wolf knew nothing for a few moments until he tumbled out of one of the walls, standing he shook himself and stared at the place he'd started from. An aggravated groan left his throat and he stomped his sole metal paw against the ground before choosing a new direction to go.

Roleplay Response: Samoel had slowed his pace significantly since he'd first entered the maze. Now, he ran in a smooth, steady lope that wasn't very fast but could be kept up for a while. The walls of the maze were strung with cobwebs and covered in spiders that scuttled away as the young wolf moved past. At last, he arrived at the next crossroads and hesitated only a moment before bounding away down the right path.
