horse breed you find most interesting & why
As you can probably tell I am really into Kaimanawa horses, I am from New Zealand and these stocky little horses have become a bit famous here. The recent muster rehomed all (bar one with old injurys) horses that where mustered! I also love these horses cause their personality is honestly the best, and they are a perfect size for me (I am rather short XD). Also th y horses can jump really well which makes them really exciting prospects.

well, I find that the American Miniature Horse would be an intreststing breed. They where used in coal mines to haul coal but never got to see the light of day, they are strong little things. They where founded in Europe. They are used now for driving, showing, assistance animals and therapy horses. And they can live to be about 40 years old and the oldest to live was 52 years old. I could say so much more about why they are intresting but in keeping my post short cx
I also own a miniature horse haha

I find the Australian Brumby to be the most interesting breed. Because they are considered to be feral horses but were originally used for Show Jumping and Racing. In addition to this they were named after a farrier. My favorite fact about them though is that a group of Australian Brumbys is called a "mob".

i find the most interesting are dutch warmbloods, i love dressage, have always loved it, and the dutch warmbloods are so cute, though elegant, and graceful. they are in common colours but make the colours look good. however, i dont own a warmblood, i wish i did cx

Fjords. I have always loved them, and they're so unique. In the first place, I love dun horses, and the fact that they come in so many varieties of dun is amazing. I'm obsessed with their stocky bodies. And I love love love the manes. Whether trimmed or not, they're so intriguing. I love the fact that they are often cut into patterns. Even when their mane isn't trimmed, it's gorgeous as it starts with white and goes to black. They can perform almost any discipline, and I enjoy looking up videos of Fjords doing different sports. Another thing I love about this breed is their personality. Fjords are known to be curious, sweet, and independent.

There are a lot of breeds I find interesting, but I think I find Friesians the most interesting. They don't have much variation as far as coat colors and markings go, but each one manages to be beautiful in its own unique way. I could stare at pictures all day and never get tired of it.

The thoroughbred. I know they are so basic and stereotypical, but I once watched a video of the inspection of a thoroughbred horse, and I learnt so many amazing things about this breed. It is bred to be an elite athlete, with a huge heart and massive ribs. It's tendons are strong and snap back with each stride, propelling the leg forward again. It has matchstick legs but it is so powerful and strong. What also fascinates me is how the thoroughbred 'blood dopes' itself, giving extra oxygen into the blood to keep it running for miles. I've come across many OTTB's during my life and I find that they have very complex and intriguing personalities, however some of the quietest horses I have met are OTTBs, and they have made my life so rewarding. Galloping on my OTTB at full speed across the paddock is the most amazing feeling, you're going so fast and you can feel the horse powering underneath you yet you stay so still and light on their backs - it's amazing to appreciate the real power of the thoroughbred
