Nas was always afraid of ghosts when he was younger, afraid that they would come and get him when he was asleep or in the dark by himself, which he loved. Fortunately, he grew out of the fear little by little as he grew, and eventually didn't fear them at all. Now, he chases the ghosts to show them that he wasn't afraid of them all, and he likes tormenting them just like they did to him. It's not the fact that he despises the ghosts, no, he just does it for fun, but he still doesnt like them for many reasons. They still just creeped him out in general and he didn't want them anywhere near him.
