Let's take the time to look at a couple raids...Raid #1 -
Alexander and his daughter
Duchess, owned by T h e M a r t i a n
Alexander sighed happily. He was enjoying the ocean with the company of his daughter Duchess. It was a silent, moonlit night as they rowed. Alexander spoke quietly: "Dear, do you know where we are?" Duchess gasped. "No," said Duchess, "Are we lost?" Alexander replied, "We're fine. We'll be back soon. In fact," he added, "Why don't we head back now?" Duchess agreed, and they started rowing back. Earlier in the day, they had gone diving off their little rowboat, watching wildlife swim through the crystal water. Now, at night, that water seemed so ominous. They had also found a treasure: A gold coin on the seafloor. They were ready to head back to share their findings and their fun day. Suddenly, they heard a quiet splash. They both whipped their heads around to see nothing. Duchess shivered - the night turned much colder. "What was that?" she whispered. Another splash. Then they both started to hear music: A beautiful song sung by a beautiful voice pierced the silence, growing slowly louder. They started falling under a haze. The song had no words, but was beautiful all the same. A viscet emerged from the water, some parts glowing pink, the color of Duchess' stripes - something Duchess and Alexander both loved. Then, without warning, the song stopped abruptly, and the viscet hurled out of the water, snarling and bearing fangs.
"You disturbed my waters, my sea creatures, and stole my gold." she growled. Alexander and Duchess were too scared to speak, and they watched, eyes wide as she took the gold coin they had found and flipped it once in the air, before it disappeared.
"I suggest you stay out of my triangle from now on. Sweet dreams." She shot them a nasty smile and slipped back into the water.
Raid #2 -
Flint, owned by Mint Chip
Flint and his sailboat crew were well on their way off the coast of Florida. He'd been warned the Bermuda Triangle was dangerous, haunted by an unknown creature. He didn't care, and since he thought himself the
very best, ignored it and sailed anyways. Now, with the wind in his favor, his chest puffed out proudly. Earlier that day, they had gone fishing for a delicious lunch. Suddenly, a crew member came rushing up, panting. "Cap'n," he rushed, "There's a viscet in the water. We're not sure if it's ours or a stranded one." Before he had time to reply, a song burst out of nowhere. Flint grew dizzy, and felt as if he was underwater. He saw a beautiful viscet slithering up the railings of his ship, coming to him. She was stunning, and was glowing red - his favorite color. She continued singing the song, slowly leaning closer. Flint closed his eyes, under a spell.
"Give me your gold," the song seemed to repeat. Before he knew what was happening, he picked up the treasure chest and handed it over to the temptress. Suddenly, the song screamed
"GET OUT!". He felt a sharp stinging pain on his cheek. The temptress bared bloody fangs, and screamed
"How DARE you harm my fish! How dare you disturb the Triangle! Leave, lest you sustain more injury!" Her eyes glowed a fearsome red. The temptress then leaped off board with his treasure, and his pride.
