Following your moral compass sounds like an easy task, but when faced with life and death situations this compass becomes skewed.
In this classic zombie tale, you must fight to survive. Facing not only the challenge of the undead but the dangerous of man stripped to it's core; predatory instincts to live no matter the cost of those around them.
Playing as Lee, a man accused of murdering another man who slept with his wife but found his escape during the cover of the apocalypse. Who finds companionship with a young girl by name the of Clementine who becomes the humanity and heart of the game. With this duo of father and adopted daughter you face many challenges; including the fight for family and heartbreaking reveals.
This is a game of struggle, of what you believe to be the right choice and the choice that needs to be made, and every selection affecting the life of the characters you've become to love and the gameplay. You will watch heroes fall from grace with every decision, and the innocent now stained with blood. Every corner is a new surprise, a new challenge to deconstruct and a new choice.
As a player of this game I can testify that it is fresh, and unpredictable. As a lover of zombies and avid player/watcher/reader of everything relating, this game is one of the best games I've played relating to. The soul of the game lies within the characters, and you find yourself crying or cheering quite often. The archetype most characters have in games is destroyed in this one, as even the 'evil' or 'terrible' characters have their moments and are relatable. What I look for in tv shows, movies, games, and all above is for character development. From a writers stand point it's important to destroy stereotypes and keep the characters unique, and I look for characters that I can fall in love with and care for as if they were people around me. The Walking dead did this for me.
