Dainly loves the beach, in all honestly it's his favourite location and it brings out a new side in this Kalon simply because he gets super worked up and excited despite his normally calm attitude. See Dain mades and sells all sorts of items and to him, the Beach is a whole new territory. He sets up his little fold up table with all his little nick-nacks, necklaces and everything he’s got created. Feathers, Beads, rocks, Marbles and his favourite thing, Shells. I guess that gives away his big passion for the beach. After setting up his little tablet, Dainly will often abandon it to hunt for shells. Often coming back to find missing stock but Dain never minds, he often gives away his items anyway so he's thrilled that his handmade creations are good enough to steal.

Other than the beautiful shells that are Dainly’s life, He adores the water, from a distance, though not scared of water, he simply just doesn't enjoy the cold feeling, or being wet. He’ll often dip his toes in but that is about all the ocean water is good for. It's more the salty aspect and being unable to get sand from his hair. That's why he’ll just mind his little stall on the beach, quite a way from the water itself.

Though he runs his stall in other locations, the Beach is defiantly his favourite spot, his necklaces go very well in the surfers section of life. His shells become necklaces which he gifts to children at hospitals while telling them all stories about the place he found the shells. The kids love him when he does this so he absolutely adores finding the shells and making them so clearly the beach is a serious passion to him for more reasons than just the sand, the water or the shells. It's about the outcome of the event of a beach.

So all in all, beaches make him excited, happy and over all feel like a general hero. He may be a little uptight to consider himself a hero but bringing a smile to very ill kids makes him feel special.

Terribly messy. And painful! If only people would do more to keep them clean. Think about it. Why do people go to the beach? To have fun! When they get hungry, what do they do? Eat. Then leave their trash on the ground so it can blow away. Little kids fill up buckets of seashells to take home. Their parents, not wanting everything they touch after the fact to smell like fish, make their child dump out the shells and leave them behind...for others to step on! Every time I go to the beach, I step on at least one shard of shell. Then I cut my paw pads and have to either go home or limp the rest of the way. In popular tourist areas, like where I live, beaches aren't always properly cared for. Unfortunate, but true. Even the animals are affected by the constant littering. Birds and sea creatures may attempt to eat the trash, unknowing that it is harmful. That's why I volunteer to clean up the beach! I want it to be clean for everyone to enjoy. I also talk to people to spread the awareness of the condition of local beaches. Oh, I've gotta go now. Beaches don't clean themselves!

The beach! I have mixed feelings about mixed feelings about it, i love it some days, the others not so much. If you don't know, I love playing pranks on people, so as I must say, my fur blends on really well in the sand, so why not hide in it? It's the best! Me and my friends go early in the morning and hide me near the popular area where people go swimming. Then when enough people are near, i jump out and scream, the reactions are priceless! Of course, a lot of people call me mean names for doing that, but it is funny none the less.

The other reason why I hate it, is I have to deal with people standing on me, walking all over me and crabs.
If we arrive late, Im only a few inches deep in the sand. I have had back issues for people standing and running on me. It hurts, a lot! Plus it gets really hot underneath the sand, like really hot. Yes I need to warm up to it (pun included) but I prefer the cold way more!
