Why are they hard to love? ;; She's a horrible planner. A lot of kalons have this trait but she has it as bad as it comes. She'll either set plans to early/late or on days she forgot she had other plans because she forgot to record she had them. It goes from cute to plan annoying when you want to go out on a romantic dinner and she thought it was next week or comes by your house at the wrong time on the wrong week. It's always an "i'm in love with an idiot" kind of feeling with her.

Why are they hard to love? ;; Red's tough on the outside, picking fights when he can. Some are cautious by this character trait alone. However, when he is alone or with accepting friends, he reads too many romance novels and chick flick movies that increase his standards so much he finds trouble seeing the beauty in others right in front of him.

jacques is... strange when it comes to love. he'll crush on someone and hint at it forever, till they notice. but then, right after the first date, he'll tell them they should break up. he's made up so many excuses you could fill a book.

whether it's a lie or not, it can be hard to tell.

Why are they hard to love? ;; He's mute - specifically, selectively mute. He finds it difficult to trust others and therefore doesn't tend to speak to others, driving those who want to befriend or love him away since he won't speak to them. He only speaks if he's let down his walls enough, however it's difficult for others to get to the point without essentially giving up.

Hazel is an extreme hypochondriac. She's a worry wart, and struggles massively with all the strange thoughts flying through her head. Unlike most people, however, she often bursts them out, which tends to put people off. As mentioned previously, she is a hypochondriac. She always thinks there is something wrong with her, and sometimes it's all she can think or talk about. People around her don't want to hear about her senseless worries, and it makes her a very difficult person to be around.

Rowan's criminal record scares away everyone. Because of being shunned for foolish mistakes in the past, he has built up a barrier around him and the outside world, so thick that no one can penetrate his shell. He lives as the local recluse, lodging in an overgrown house at the end of a forgotten dead end. He's just given up on being treated any other way than the way he is now. Why try to change when they still won't accept you?
