Why do you want to be an archivist?: I've always felt most comfortable helping others with their projects rather than creating my own, and staff work is no different! Organizing, categorizing, and formatting also bring me great joy, and as corny as it is, I would love to share that joy with others. I also always keep up to date with ARPG content anyway; I wouldn't have to go out of my way to track something, given that I tend to be active for hours and check up on anything I've missed.
Previous Archiving Experience [if any]: N/A (outside of IRL events)
What timezone are you in, and what times are you around usually? [ballpark]: EST, casually active (popping into chats, doing one simple task at a time) all morning and afternoon (7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.), but strongly active (consistently chatting for over an hour, designated time to complete specific arduous tasks) between 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Do you have any questions?: I'll have more specific questions around launch time if I'm brought on to the team, but is there an expected software to use or will Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides be acceptable (I am also open to using Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)?

Why do you want to be an archivist?: I love archiving, I love cat ARPGS, and I love spreadsheets. Basically, this is my catnip! Also, I'd love to be involved from ground zero <3 It's always fun to watch a community grow!
Previous Archiving Experience [if any]: While I haven't had the chance to be staff on a UMA owing to a rather long hiatus I took, IRL I work in a library setting! Plus, I work on archiving my own OCs as a downtime task.
What timezone are you in, and what times are you around usually? [ballpark]: PST; I work part-time so my schedule varies day-to-day. I'd say fully after 6pm Saturday-Monday and Thursday and all day the rest of the week. I pop on pretty reguarly at work, though.
Do you have any questions?: Honestly most of the questions I have are like, logistical questions. Stuff like: how do we want to standardize runner up numbers? Would it make more sense to have separate archives/spreadsheets for user data (clan links/items/etc) vs cat data (founders/adopts/nursery batches)? Also, how regular would the actual archiving work be expected to be done? Once a week? 2-4 times a week? Daily?

Why do you want to be an archivist?: Honestly, i find it very relaxing and love the repetition. I also love the idea of this species and would love to contribute back to the community whether that be in CS or a closed species. I’m proficient in excel/google sheets (i took an intro college course) and I am good with BBcode which is what CS uses.
Previous Archiving Experience [if any]: Currently and archivist for Gunkimals. I own Liogons but am taking a break for personal reasons and did the archiving for them as well. Ive also helped out Buttermilks with their archiving.
What timezone are you in, and what times are you around usually? [ballpark]: Im in Eastern Standard Time. I work Tues-Sat 2:30PM-11pm BUT i work from home and I am chronically online. I will always have free tike to make sure things are situated.
Do you have any questions?: When would archiving most likely be done/how often?(one a week,twice a week, etc). Are we going to have more than one archivist so one doesnt feel overwhelmed with multiple archives? Should there be separate archives for adopts, founders, nursery batches, items, MYO, clans, etc, or should they be in one collective spreadsheet? If using CS as an archive would you like to see the same thing, new topic for different archives? How would you like things abbreviated or is that archivist choice? Will there be an event archive as well?

Why do you want to be an archivist?: I already am very excited for Genesis to open and I want to help the community, I enjoy keeping track of information and find it easy, and I know that while both moderators and archivists are crucial for the operation of a closed species, many people ignore the role of archivists and focus on mods instead
