Why hello! It's been a while since we've done something like this, hasn't it? As some of you remember, an event similar to this happened a few years back. That's right, the harness color me event! This event is somewhat similar; while you'll be coloring in the halter and rope, we are also letting you guys give your zebras some scars and/or war paint designs. This will be our little early 7th anniversary event! Zebras on these lines are able to breed, and foals will be on the main lines.

Let's spice things up a little; why don't we? Each applicant will have to fill out a form with their scars/warpaint, and these can be descriptions if you don't feel comfortable drawing! You may even use a generic base if you prefer different art programs. Now, on to the other things. These will be semi-customs, meaning that you may request things you like and let us know some things you don't like; this gives us a better insight into what you like! Please do not color the base anything but slate gray if needed for war paint or scar visuals. Remember that you can only submit one entry!

Mutations of both varieties are possible! These things will be noted on the form and up to the artist's preference. Artists will claim your form and get your final product to you after you've added them to the canvas, and we'll look here for forms for those that can't use oekaki etc.

At the end of this event, newer mutations could be seen, and artists will create designs that we will raffle off at the end once everyone's designs are completed - to include the cover design. There will also be a separate raffle for 500 CS $ to those who have participated in the event.

You do not need a player villager to adopt villagers from Islanders. However, the arpg will require a player villager to participate.

2. Everyone gets 1 free player villager. If later on you don't connect with them, you will need species currency to claim another.

3. If you want an animal villager player, you can use any real world animal/bug species!
do not use a species of myth like dragon, kelpie, kitsune, cerberus etc (with exception to unicon as that's canon! Julian ^.^)

4. You can commission someone else to make your player villager. You can make your player villager off site.

As I'm nearing the end of getting this set up, I'd like to go ahead and start this artist search, so I can other people to help run this and make adopts^^

Rules for this are simple:
1: Make a cover for your entries
2: You must make at least two or three entries to be considered
3: Do not remove the "Fake" tag
4: Your entries (obviously) need to abide by all CS rules, and by (most) of the Kelphons' rules (you are free to deviate slightly from the coat colors/patterns rule, but not by much)
5: You are free to make any edits to the lines, so long as they are appropriate, and as long as theyare still recognizable as a Kelphon
6: Please include which artist position you're applying for, such as Nursery Artists, Guest Artist, or Main Artist
7: Final rule, set up your entries like you would an actual adopt (excluding numbers/IDs, leave those out). Feel free to use the below form or similar:

Added: As there are no actual payments for this, I made up a rewards system based on what I've seen in other UMAs. For every few Kelphons made (my personal number is 10), and artists is allowed to make themselves a Kelphon on the MYO/Customs page. Now, just so it's not one custom for every adopt made, the minimum number of adopts required for this is 3. So, for every 3+ Kelphons (based on the artist's personal goal) you'll be free to make one Kelphon for yourself. These Kelphons, as they fall under the MYO/Customs, do not need to follow species guidelines to a T, so long as they remain recognizable as a Kelphon.

Besides these rules, you are free to do anything you'd like, such as seting up your own general rules for adopting and such. Have fun, and enjoy working with these^^

Be aware this is also purely for fun, artists and no other staff will be paid unless they offer to do customs, which must only be for in-game currency, such as c$, FR currency, pets, items, or similar. Selling adopts is not permitted, nor can artists or other staff sell customs for IRL currency.)

What are Khimaira Friesians?:
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Velunes are an equine based species with ties to natural, and unnatural elements, such as peacocks and phoenix. Their physical form takes the shape much like a unicorn, including that it even sports a horn at times but also features an array of colorful feathers; most notably around their shoulders, eyes and a large crested plume on their rear. Their base colors follow normal horse genetics, but nothing is impossible to see. But behind these mystical looking creatures lie an even greater source of intrigue; Magic. Each Velune is born into one of the four basic elements: Fire, Water, Earth or Air. Through their journey of discovery, they learn to master different levels of magic within their element, culminating in transformation. A Velune can choose to transform into a celestial state, known as a Stardrift, and retain the powers in their birth element, or they can choose to be a master of all, and begin again with a new element. But be warned, if you choose to go the later, your Velune will never achieve Stardrift status. Both paths are unique, which will you choose?
