This little Marumi appeared deep in the woods after you've been walking for a while! They seem a bit shy and skittish - and no wonder, the glow on their wings and tail make them hard to miss, so they might be a little extra sensitive.

However, they seem very interested in whatever it is you've got in that packed lunch of yours. Looks like you might have a food-motivated new friend on your hands.

To win this maru, show them what's in your packed lunch! You can either draw the foods or describe them in detail. and make sure to keep the forest tidy and don't leave any wrappers or plastic utensils behind. ;]

I make my way into a small clearing, a picturesque meadow deep in the forest, a place where the sun rays touch the grass and wildflowers speckle the ground with an abundance unlike any other, atop each blade of grass a dewdrop sparkles creating a brilliant illusion of a star studded sky. I settle into the middle of the area, placing my pack down I begin pulling each item out for my lunch. First a pot of chicken noodle soup, with noodles shaped of suns, stars and flowers, the broth shimmered in the sun, a beautiful golden hue. Next, a thermos of loose leaf chamomile tea, made of dainty white flowers with bright yellow centers. As I pull the last item out of my pack, a small gold pack of Haribo gummy bears, I hear scampering behind me before suddenly a dragon pops up on my right. This dragon with bright honey colored wings, as a whole no bigger than the size of a house cat, pushes her twitching nose towards my lunch. Happily I offer her a cup of soup, tea and all of the yellow gummy bears I have. She seems pleased with my little offering, delightfully hopping around the small camp as if she were a small fawn. I pat her soft cotton-candy colored fur, "thank you for the company, little Sundancer" (225 words)

“well, hello, friend!” i whisper, cautious to avoid loud noises. i hush my body’s movements and keep motion to a minimum.
i open my lunch box as an offering, a wicker picnic-style box in the shape of a heart, and place it on the ground. i back off a few paces so as not to scare the critter.

inside the lunch box is as follows:
- a lace napkin (inedible)
- an ice pack (inedible)
- a carved rose quartz crystal charm in the shape of a frog (wistfully inedible)
- carbonated orange juice, non-alcoholic, in a glass, pear-shaped bottle
- one cup of fresh berry assortment (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mulberries)
- two crunchy peanut butter and raspberry jelly sandwiches, one for now and one for later
- a small bag of blue gummy sharks
- honeycrisp apple slices, approximately half an apple

the creature picks through my lunchbox, taking her fill. she then promptly darts back off into the woods without a second glance back. i go to collect my belongings and notice the frog has been turned into solid gold! how neat, this must be a thank you reward for a nice meal. i carry on my way, hoping to catch another glance of the mystical wyrm.
