tips for use + rules! ♡
1) every aspect of the sword itself can be re-colored according to what you'd like! the backgrounds are fixed (file space was getting cramped) but if you play around with overlays and such you can probably change their colors as well.
2) If you want more of a specific decoration, use the oekaki tools to "duplicate" the folder or layer you need.
3) feel free to also draw your own designs and embellishments onto your sword! if you can dream it you can do it
4) you can post your sword anywhere you like - like if you made a sword for a character, ttrpg, etc, all that's totally fair game. if you do post your finished sword offsite of chicken smoothie, please credit either my TH account "blithelyblue" or my tumblr "fihyn-art" for the base artwork!
5) do not use this editable for profit, or copy anything directly from the file to use for profit.
6) you may NOT feed any images created from this maker into any sort of AI training module.
thanks everyone! 🙏
well. i cannot overstate how incredibly proud I am of this one. when I tell you i put my Heart and Soul into this
by the way you can draw on it to customize it further which is something I love about oekaki editables but in theory you don't have to in order to still get a fully completed sword.
ONE THING - in my process: I started this editable, and had probably finished around half of it, when I stumbled across this picrew one day while looking for references. very similar concepts! I didn't intentionally replicate it though and everything I've drawn/included is different from this other version, so I think you could use them both and end up with two totally different swords. :> EXCEPT. ☝️ after I found this picrew and looked through the options, I fell in LOVE with the bannered grip. I just had to have one like it for my sword maker. so shout out to that picrew for that one gorgeous handle.
I REALLY hope y'all have fun with this <3
