Avine are raised and train to participate in the Avine Racing Leagues where they gain stats to pass on to their offspring. The size of your Avine will determine what Race they are allowed to register for!

No one knew where the blizzard would take you or who you would meet along the way. Primarily, you set out on the expedition with the aim of describing the peculiarities of the local Avines, but you did not notice the sudden change in the weather in time, missed the moment, and got alarmed only when the horizon was filled with a whirlwind of snowflakes.
"Damn.." you thought, covering your face from the prickly cold crystals and squinting your eyes, "I hope I don't have to go back with nothing. Oh, not again.."
Another gust of wind and a portion of snow hit you in the face. And yet, the idea of returning was getting more and more appealing..
A sudden movement brought you back to reality, forcing you to turn around, trying unsuccessfully to make out anything. It was not just a movement: it was as if some creature was shuffling around, teasing you.
A glimmer of phantom hope flashed in your chest, and even the bad weather faded into the background. Especially when your eyes adjusted and noticed..
"Avine!"
A small creature, not more than three feet tall, stood in front of you on a snowbank, peering at the stranger. Avine's tails stirred in displeasure and he stood in a more defensive stance.
"Whoa, quiet, little one," you put your palms up, showing with your body language your willingness to retreat. It seemed to you that this worked a little: the creature relaxed his shoulders and clicked his beak, as if to allow you to examine him more closely.
Or so it seemed to you. A single step forward was enough to make Avine ruffle his feathers and spread his wings, and now you could see the bronze and gold trim among the black and white feathers and fur.
"Sorry! Got it - I made a mistake."
A chill ran down your spine. Not the kind that comes from a blizzard, but from something else - something obscure.
Avine pointed his golden horn at you and you felt that shiver again. The first dark point, the second, the third - small dark spots began to appear around the creature, as if an awkward artist had shaken brush at his painting. The specks combined with each other, grew until they gained the appearance of small clouds.
The clouds were whirling in an impressive blizzard dance, but there weren't any large dark clusters. However, it was enough to completely cover Avine. In a blink of an eye, Avine disappeared! The dark patterns completed their performance and faded away as well.
By a strange coincidence, the blizzard also began to subside.
"Well," you thought, sweeping the snowflakes from your eyelashes, "Maybe this is a sign.." Carefully, you took out your notebook and began hastily sketching what you had just seen with your own eyes..
