The Avine are a species of griffin that carry owl and big cat like features. They live in many types of climates, and can come in many different sizes. Avine are raised and train to participate in the Avine Racing Leagues where they gain stats to pass on to their offspring. The size of your Avine will determine what Race they are allowed to register for!

Luck seems to follow this avine wherever he goes. It's usually small things, like narrowly missing stepping in a puddle. And it doesn't mean negative things can't happen to him too. But even those seem to be less bad than they could've been; like last week when he dropped his jelly toast but it landed jelly side up. But one of his luckiest instances was a day that, in the beginning, didn't feel very lucky. It seemed like, for once, everything was going wrong as Adh tried to get out the door for a meeting. It was a cold rainy day and the first cloak he grabbed had a stain on it so he has to grab a different one. Because he had to switch cloaks, he just missed the raft transport going downriver so he had to fly. But because of the low clouds he ended up getting lost and landed in an unfamiliar area, almost missing the landing because it was on the edge of a cliff. As he was feeling miserable about his bad luck day, he heard a cry. It was coming from over the cliff! Adh quickly leaped back in the air and flew over the cliff. "Help me, please"! There was human hanging there! Adh quickly swooped beneath the human to catch her just as her grip slipped and she bagan to fall. The timing was perfect and he was able to fly her back above to safety. "Lucky you came around when you did!" she said as Adh put her down.
And that's how Adh met his perfect rider. They have become the best partners and are training for their first race together. (By the way, turns out his meeting was canceled anyway.)
