Before I get to the specific compliments, I just wanted to say something to the general community of cs and Rise. My time here has always been great and I've never had a problem with anyone before. While I do sometimes get bored on the site, I always return. I may jump between species sometimes, but I always return to Rise. Owning a species and being co-owner of another had put a bit of weight on me, and keeping everything in check within those is tough, but Rise allows me to escape those momentarily to try out for awesome cats and participate in events. Thanks to those who got Rise going in the beginning and made the species what it is today.

first off, this is a message to those who helped reinstate my presence in Rise. you know who you are c:

It isn't about 'who did what', really, but the fact that I've never had this happen to me in a species before.
It isn't the first time I've been pointed at, but it is the first time that someone - much less a group of people - come to me and personally tell me how welcome I am and practically begged me to stay, despite them knowing next to nothing about me. It really astounded me that someone could care so much about a complete stranger; never in my life have I felt acknowledged like that, and in full honesty, it's most of the reason that I decided in the end to stick around. Even if I haven't had time to list you here yet, I just want you to know that you have my most sincere thanks. I'll be making the most out of my experience in Rise, thanks to all of you. <3

Your art is wonderful, and I love to see when you post your progress or completed work in the Rise art-share channel. c:
WolfStormSC - You aren't super active in chat, but you were the first person to ask me to draw one of your cats for the Rise 100 challenge! This may not mean much to someone else, but it meant a lot to me when you messaged me. I had already deleted my request by the time you DMed me; I had become anxious from getting no responses and, as a fear of looking dumb / passed over, I'd impulsively deleted it. I don't know how you saw it, but it still struck me when you sent me a link, and it made me want to draw one of your cats so badly. So thank you, for noticing me when no one else did. c:
Dia - You are, honestly, one of the most easy-to-approach species owners that I've ever met. Back when Soulsplosion was running Viscets, I felt like I could PM them anytime and not feel dumb for asking. After they left, I felt weird about approaching the new owner, even long after I became staff of the species. You, however...approached me, first, and although I've already covered my appreciation in the paragraph above, I just want to express how wonderful that is, to me. You saw one person in a massive crowd of people about to back out, and you reached out like I was a priority to you. I just really, really respect the way you treat people, and I'm glad it's you at the front of Rise.
denja - You are probably one of the goofiest people I have ever met, and I LOVE it. You make me feel comfortable letting my weird side out too, which is a good thing - since I'm the most cursed person out of my friend group akjhsdkhdf
Your art is wonderful and I can't help but adore how you design cats; you designed my founder, Lilystar, and made him look exactly as I'd pictured! It's a shame you can't put out a whole lot of designs, but I truly appreciate the ones you do put out, custom or no. Ultimately... can i offer you an egg in this trying time? I really look up to you as an artist, and I feel really comfortable talking to you.
surgefire - I really love the fact that you do so many breedings for people. Breedings for this species is like, kind of terrifying for me since I'm awful at natural designs anyway slhfsdjfk but you spread the love, and that's awesome. On top of that, you're a really kind and goofy like denja person and you've helped me to feel welcome in Rise. Thank you for all that you do c:
faededfyre - I love your art style so much!! You work really hard to complete the pieces that you do, and I can tell; I love seeing you post in the art-share channel. On top of that, you're one of the most active people in the discord, so it's hard to miss when you talk -- but of course, I seek it out! I may not chat much with you, but I enjoy when we do get to talk a bit. <3
dimi - On my first night in Rise, I saw you literally handwriting everything for the archive, and that's when I knew I respected you a lot. You're so dedicated to a species that you'd spend hours writing down archiving information in a notebook, all while humoring us in the discord as well. You really deserve a lot more credit for what you do, and I love that you even get to host contests sometimes. c: keep up the awesome work!
endless shelter;; - u already know i'm about to yell about your artwork;;; You are SO amazing at human / humanoid art and I can't even begin to believe how skilled you are. I don't know you that well, but I felt super, super compelled to at least acknowledge your skill here bc screams,, it's really good, and I hope you know how great you are at drawing. gallifrey - The first thing that I noticed about you was how much more open you are in Rise, as opposed to Viscets! It really is a wonder how enforcing a rule that makes people do something versus being relaxed about it can cause a person to act; it always bothered me from the day that you'd told me the fanclub rule was a problem for your anxiety, and honestly, I can understand! It's hard to try and be personal with strangers, much less talk to them directly. I can't come out of my own shell without knowing someone at least a little first. I really like the way you're growing with your art, and I hope that you'll keep sharing it. <3 I'm really glad you've found comfort in Rise.
dewly_noted - You are so, so sweet, first of all. When I remember the first time I posted in art-share, that animated icon thing, I remember you were the (if not one of) first person to comment on it. It may have just been luck that you commented first, but I remember things like that, and it really sticks with me;; not to mention your prowess as an artist! I don't think I'm currently trying for one of your cats, but they're all so beautiful; it's no wonder to me why you were chosen as a guest artist! <3
oceanfosh - hello, fosh I just wanted to say thank you for putting up with how dumb I am shsjhdsjhdjsh, I have not forgotten the curse I placed upon you that surge still jokes about sometimes. But, more on that, I really like your time-limit competitions, and how quickly people rush to try out. It adds a special sort of thrill to trying out for a cat, and even if I don't win, I still feel glad at the end because of how fun it was to try. c: Thank you for adding some extra fun to competitions!

I love your sense of humor as both a person and an artist, and I strongly admire the way that you design your cats.
