Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

I saw warriors kalons and I've been feeling in warriors mood lately, browsing fan art, reading spoilers, watching fan videos to music! That stuff. Thought I would design these two.

I already started Hawkfrost's lines!
So he'll be posted first, then Tigerstar under this cover, too.

This is a partnership contest, and here are the guidelines.

- You can partner up with anyone, although, if your an owner, I encourage you to find a non owner partner/few owner! Possible BONUS POINTS!
- These two cannot be blood relatives as per kalon rules!
- They can, however, have a sibling/parent and child relationship through adoption.
- These two cannot be romantically involved or ever be bred with eachother.
- However, they can be any gender, and their information can be as much like or as different from the characters they are inspired off of! Rivals, friends, enemies, their relationship is otherwise up to you.

There may be runner ups if enough forms are completed! I also hope to award at least 1 non owner with something, but I cannot guarantee it.

If you want to repost go ahead, especially if your now requesting a partner, but please try not to double post if you can help it and just edit in your form into an already posted post. c:

For each form, you put up to 5 art pieces, Would that mean that you could have 10 total? 5 for each form? or 5 in total?

And when it mentions atleast one writing extra, that means you'd need 1 writing extra, and can have up to 5 art pieces in the form?

Yes, the total is 10, presumably 5 per "form". If you do this on a thread and have both forms put together, for example, you can have 10 pieces all together! The point is each can only contribute five tops. (As an extra note, you can collaborate on drawings and commission art, forgot to include those. Just each user can only have 5 drawings in their "section" of the form.)

Art is optional, but the writing extra is not. You must have at least 1 writing extra, per user. So yes, you can have 5 art + 1 writing extra, the art extras do not take away from the writing extra! However you must remain under the word limit given for any writing extra(s). ^u^

Name: Roach
Gender: Male

Relationship with "Hawkfrost": Roach and Rimmon(who Roach affectionately calls Remmy) have a very close younger brother, older brother relationship. They were both rather lonely and young, but the older Rimmon came to Roach's rescue and that's where their relationship began.
After they met, Roach was reluctant to accept Remmy's help and support. However, the older kalon recognized the younger fellow's fear and stuck around to protect him and teach him his ways, despite his protests. Their relationship began as friendship, but soon evolved into something like would be shared by brothers. They have their typical brother moments, filled with arguments and Hawk pushing him around. However, Rimmon does everything in his power to keep his younger brother safe.

While Roach and Remmy are closer in age than Kenai and Koda, a lot of their story and relationship is inspired by the story in Brother Bear.

What they most fear: (100 words minimum, 1000 maximum) Roach has a fear of abandonment. He fears that day when the ones he loves, the ones he looks up to, and even the ones who rely on and look up to him must leave.
He was barely old enough to be on his own when he became an orphan. He never knew what happened to his family, and was too scared to try to figure it out. He resolved the reason for his abandonment to be that he was unwanted, which left a gaping, distrusting hole in his heart that he couldn’t let heal. Over time, he has been given chances to find out, but at this point he is too hurt to bother following up on the tips. He spends his time alone tending to the broken, missing piece of his self rather than seeking answers that would potentially leave him to fix it. Because of this history, he is continuously worried that those he allowed through his stone exterior will leave him.
He often gets sucked into a spiral of worry that his older brother figure, Remmy, is going to become tired of watching out for him and leave him without warning. Roach doesn't know how he'll survive without the older kalon, and the day that he thought Remmy didn't want him around anymore was the worst day of his short life.

Personality:
This kalon is strong, intelligent, and ambitious, but his insecurity keeps him from accomplishing great things. He doesn't believe that he is capable of doing more than his daily routine, never mind without the help of his companion. This stems from his attachment issues and fear of abandonment. He does not recognize his own strengths and positive attributes.
Despite Roach's insecurity and lack of confidence, he is a wonderful, faithful friend. While he may come across as clingy at times, he is the kind of character you want to have around. He is great company, and even better at sitting down for long, serious chats to chase the blues away. He's also exceptional at filling awkward silences with relentless chatter and whimsical stories. Roach has quite the imagination, and when he's feeling safe and confident, he can go on forever. He also has a history of getting into arguments when he's trying to defend someone who he cares for. His passionate rants have often ended up in scuffles, earning him some battle scars. The little guy just doesn't know when to shut his mouth. X
