Firstly, I apologize for taking so long! It was my intention to try and judge this as soon as possible (I know how nerve-wracking waiting on this kind of thing can be!), but to be honest... life kinda happened. As it's wont to do. :6 Sorry about that! I'd like to thank everyone for being so patient with me in the meantime!

There were many exceptional forms for this dude, which made it pretty hard to choose! You guys did wonderful jobs and I want to see all of your character ideas live and thrive. ;w; <3 Thank you so much for joining in this re-adopt, and I hope you all had fun!

In the end I feel like I'll have to go with garnet.'s Volkner. It's very obvious that garnet. put a lot of time and love into their form and I think Volt will be going to a very good home. <3 I'd appreciate if everyone who entered with art would please contact garnet and give them a chance to save the pieces with proper credit. (Or post it here!) Congratulations, garnet.!

Hey there!

I understand disappointed feelings after putting a lot of work into something you really want, but tbh I really don't appreciate negative responses, guys.

This goes for both posts after a winner is announced as well as posts before then, along the lines of "I know I won't win but." Whether it's meant that way or not, this is actually really emotionally manipulative behavior, and doesn't do you or anyone around you any good. It makes you feel bad, it makes other entrants feel bad, it makes the person holding the contest feel bad. There's nothing to be gained from doing it.

To clarify, I knew a person growing up who would act like this, and never grew out of it. They turned into a manipulative, abusive adult, and I just really don't want to foster that kind of behavior in anyone after that. I think you can do better than this! In future contests and adopts of mine, this kind of behavior will get you disqualified.

I'm not trying to target or bully anyone. This is behavior that I've seen on a number of adopts that just ultra rubs me the wrong way, and I'm not gonna tolerate it. These kind of adopt competitions should honestly be fun for everyone, whether they they win or not. It's about flexing your creativity and coming up with stuff that's uniquely YOU! Not just winning or losing.

Congratulations once more! I hope you have a lot of fun with them. You put a lot of effort into your form! Both I and my roommate were very impressed. It was very difficult to decide, don't get me wrong, but in the end you're very talented and I think you'll give him lots of love. <3
