Momoe

She isn’t quite like her family, but she isn’t quite unlike them either.

Born blind, It was agreed that she would stay with Hareta and Taura until further notice. Thinking this was her only problem, she and Taura were allowed to visit town together. After Momoe’s first trip though, Taura realized, the amount of touching and bumping between Momoe and the people of the town was sky rocketing the positive-luck, and causing a butterfly effect. Obviously this was dangerous for multiple reasons, so Momoe was kept inside, well away from danger.

Momoe has a high imagination, always pretending and playing around, but the biggest thing that scares her sister and mother, is how much she doesn’t pay attention to her surroundings. She’s too care-free and makes everyone in her family agree all the more that she isn’t ready to do anything outside of her mother and Taura’s care.

Kenzo: much like her sister, Taura Ran, Momoe doesn’t have much contact with her father, as he is off traveling. He’s really gentle in her perspective, and she wishes they could spend more time together, but traveling would be to dangerous for her, so her thoughts are just wishful thinking.

Tomiko: Momoe has a special bond with Tomiko, she can see how lively she is just by the way she speaks, her stories on the road and the people she meets, Momoe looks forward to their birthday just to get to be with her again. One thing that she always says to Tomiko, is that she is the most beautiful person she has ever met, and she never lets her forget that.

Taura Ran: like siblings who live together, they have a love hate relationship sometimes. Momoe often gets jealous that her sister is allowed to leave home even just a little, but compared to Taura, Momoe is rather childish, and whiny. There will be days, when Momoe comes to Taura crying, simply because she feels lonely, especially if their mother is not right there with her. Taura will often be the one to try and distract Momoe from her loneliness, by suggesting a game of hide and seek, or something that includes going to find Hareta.

Hareta: Momoe doesn’t quite understand the depths of her mother’s curse, knowing only the fact of “she can disappear.” It scares her so much so, that she clings to her mother, and always touches her if she’s quiet too long to make sure she is still there. And at times, if her mother has something she needs to do that doesn’t include Momoe, it sends Momoe into a panic, and she makes her mother promise she will be back. There are times, when Hareta will walk away without telling Momoe while she isn’t paying attention, in hopes she will be distracted long enough for her to get something done, and only moments later, Momoe is in the other room desperately searching for her like the house is burning down.

Relationship with family;;
Initially, Kenzo saw that she had the same curse as her sister, and allowed her to travel with him so that he could tell others about her, so that she would never be forgotten like Hareta. But neither of them realised the other aspect of her curse, one she inherited from her father. She could see, and give luck. And that's what she did, as they traveled through places she had never seen before. She is close to Kenzo, strongly wishing for his happiness. Idona knows little about his past, his previous pains and hopelessness, but she could sense it, and wants to prevent anything from making him unhappy ever reaching him.
Idona herself does not mind being forgotten, but she knew how much the villagers' ignorance of her pained Hareta, and along with Tomiko she strives to tell others about her mother, in the hopes that she would regain her place among her people again. Whenever they visit her and Taura, Idona could be seen attempting to help out with everything, or to retell stories from their travels - albeit a bit exaggerated - to try make her smile or laugh. Happiness was everything to Idona, and she wants her mother up know that she would always be there through the letters she sends back along with Kenzo's.
Idona admires Taura's elegant and gentle spirit, as she herself is not one you would describe as poised, and her connection to nature. She however somewhat disapproves of Taura restraining from telling others their fortunes - wouldn't it benefit them, especially if it was bad luck? She doesn't believe in fate or karma, for in her eyes, no one deserves pain, but she does her best not to agrue with Taura about it; she still loves her, after all.
Idona has quite a positive relationship with Tomiko, although they have slightly differing opinions on how to make their mother remembered again. She loves her sister's spirit and kindness, and her energy in praising Hareta and bringing people to the village, and sometimes helps her think up new ways to pull people into knowing Hareta.

"I don't mind being forgotten..."

Idona seemed to have inherited a curious mix of powers from her mother and father; she can see others' luck, like Taura, but she can also give luck. And her soul, having seen her mother's struggles with her people and her father's struggles with himself, is filled with understanding and kindness, resulting in her giving good luck to all who is struggling. Just to ease their pain, if only for a while. But there is a catch to this gift, stemming from her mother's curse. The more luck she gives, the more people she makes happy... the more she is forgotten. She of course does not mind this - to her as a wanderer, being forgotten doesn't seem important. She was likely to only meet them once, and when they forgot her, what does that matter to Idona? They were happy, and that was all that matters. It was a naive concept, a child's wish and knowledge that happiness solves all problems, but it was her concepts, until she grew older.

Being forgotten did not scare Idona. She was still here, present, and it meant that she could continue to provide good luck, having been forgotten already. Knowledge that her family could never forget her was enough; she wanted to giver her powers back into the world, to help those cursed and those in pain. She had inherited some of Kenzo's mindset - there is only the present, and her absence in the future did not matter.

And was it not Kenzo's luck that led him to see Hareta? So giving people in her village luck would allow them to see her and remember her, and to welcome her back. And she was killing two birds with one stone; in a way she idolises her father, for having been through so much despair and come out with such a generous and peaceful heart. If she told others the luck she gave them was from her father, he would be welcomed everywhere! He would be a hero to everyone's eyes, and technically it wasn't a lie - if Kenzo was happy with them, then wouldn't they get luck? She was only helping him.

Strong beliefs of a hopeful soul, perhaps misguided by a child's positivity.

adalia loves all of her family members. she really does. but she tends to go off and her explore everything she can insteadof staying at home. if she encounters someone new, she'll tell them all about her family. she doesn't want any of her family members to be forgotten, especially her mother. she hopes that by keeping her family's memory alive and well, something extremely fortunate will happen to her.

if ada ever gets lost, she'll try to find her way home as quick as she can. she's normally good at remembering her way home, but things happen. she's never had to stay out alone one night before, because one of her family members (normally her father) will come find her if she isn't back within, at most, four hours.

ada's also out exploring not only because she wants to tell about her family, but also so that she can help others that have gotten lost and need to find a way home. she hasn't quite found anyone yet, but she's determined that she'll help when the time comes. she thinks that helping others might also lead her to getting some sort of reward.

ada usually picks out some sort of souvenir from each trip she makes. she has a small little shelf where she puts everything she's gathered. all of her "souvenirs" are in order from the time she got them.

when adalia is at home, she'll talk for hours on end about where she went that day, what she did, who she met, and other random things. she'll usually ask if she's being annoying, and if she is, she'll just laugh and quickly finish whatever story she was telling.

as for who adalia is closest with, it would most likely be her mother or father. she always tries her best to put a smile on their face, and considers it a good day if she is able to do so. if she isn't able to do that, then she doesn't consider it a terrible day, just an almost good day. terrible days are only for actually terrible days.

adalia is very kindhearted. she tries to give more than she receives. she believes that everyone deserves happiness, no matter what they've done. she sees the beauty in everything. she tries to make the most of her life, which is why she goes out and explores all the time. she always tries encouraging her siblings to come with her and explore the world with her. even if they decline, she doesn't mind going and exploring by herself.

Bio/Backstory;;

From an early age, it was apparent that Aadhira struggled with remembering. It started with simple things, like misusing words, forgetting to finish her homework. Normal things that didn't raise much awareness from her parents. Aadhira seemed to be the only child that had not been affected by either of their curses, so her forgetting small things now and then seemed like a blessing compared to the gifts/curses that affected their other children.

It wasn't until Aadhira forgetting things like, where she lived, and how old she was that her parents began to realize that her forgetting seemed to have been an adaption on Hareta's curse. Instead of disappearing from view when being forgotten, Aadhira simply forgets moments and facts about her life. She sometimes even forgets who she is.

As a way to try and cope with her ever fading memory Aadhira took to journaling. Hoping that writing out her life day by day would help her to hold on to her memories. Sometimes, it would work, other times it was almost as if she could feel her memories slipping away... The memories she does manage to keep she holds close to her like treasures.

Relationship with family;;

Lives with Hareta and Taura Ran. Aadhira is very close to her sister Taura Ran, spending most days when she is not writing with her sister. Aadhira loves it when her Father and sister Tomiko come home to visit. She loves being surrounded by her loved ones.

Kenzo and Hareta worry greatly about Aadhira and what will happen should she ever forget Hareta or her sister Tomiko. They struggle to find ways to prevent this from happening. Aadhira has no idea that if she forgets her mother or sister that they could disappear from view. Though Aadhira doesn't worry about forgetting her family, hoping that on some level she would always be able to remember them at the very least.
