Relationship with family;;
Hakuba isn't precisely cursed, unlike some of his siblings and both of his parents are.
Hareta keeps him close at home, as it's not rare for Hakuba to get lost in the mountains after forgetting the way back to the small place above the village that his family calls home.
At their little place, he spends most of his time with his mother, asking her all the questions he can think of. He behaves in similar fashion towards his father, and even his sisters. Always curious to hear what they've been doing or where they have been. Hakuba then tries to write all of their words down, for two reasons: to remember them for as long as he can and because the little kit just loves to write pages and pages. Although, he's still a child and his writing can be very hard to understand. That never stops him when it comes to writing letters to Kenzo and Tomiko, and sometimes he asks Hareta if he can write the whole thing by himself.
He rarely goes out like Taura Ran, the nature doesn't call his attention so much and he only ventures away from his home with his mother.

Relationship with family

Many would assume that Akiara was merely a devoted follower of Hareta instead of her child from how she often raves on about her mother. Akiara resides in the old village closest to the mountains where her mother resides, spreading her philosophies and any stories that she herself is aware of to make sure that her mother is never forgotten, even when isolated in the mountains. She cares for her mother deeply, and while she does equally love each of her family members, she seems to make extra time and ways to see her mother Hareta, hoping to make sure that her mother doesn't feel alone or forgotten due to the curse.

Similarly, Akiara also thrives to make sure everyone knows her sister Tomiko. While Tomiko herself is left in the dark about her inheritane of the curse, Akiara tries to hide it by introducing Tomiko to everyone she comes across, even the shady stranger. Akiara finds comfort in the fact that people still know about Tomiko due to her determined nature to keep Tomiko's existence prominent in the mind's of all the other villagers, as well as people beyond the village when Akiara makes her voyages to go up the mountains to see her mother Hareta.

While she preaches for Tomiko and Akiara, aiding them herself, Akiara will often turn to her father and her other sister, Taura for their advice regarding other manners. She loves the both of them just as much as as she does Tomiko and Hareta, but finds that her father and Taura don't need quite as much help as Hareta and Tomiko do. Because of the ability that Akiara and Taura have been blessed with, Akiara will often turn to them for a helping hand when she is unsure of what to do, which happens more frequently than one would think of someone who preaches about their mother daily.

Overall, Akiara has a very loving and secure relationship with each of her family members, and while she tends to help Tomiko and Hareta more frequently, she is always there for her father and Taura. [350 words].

"A Hymn For Hareta"
One of the ways Akiara makes sure that her mother is not forgotten is through reciting a hymn she wrote specifically for Hareta. Once a week, she stands in the core of the village, wielding a blue crystal in her hand, holding it over her heart while she recites the hymn.

"Heed my words, children and adult folk alike.
For I am about to tell you the tale of a legend.
A legend who lurks in the mountains near
our village.

She who is named Hareta.
A goddess like being sent from the heavens,
with a wicked curse bestowed upon thy.
A goddess who watches us.

Hareta is a compassionate soul, her heart
resembling gold. Her look like no other.
A curse bestowed upon her makes her vanish if
we, the mere mortals, forget Hareta!

Relationship with family;;
Even though I can’t sense luck like papa and ra does, I don’t need it to know that I’m one lucky gal! I am very much grateful to be surrounded by such a loving and caring family, and while it sounds cheesy, I mean what I say. We aren’t the perfect family, that’s for sure, or normal, we all have our flaws and differences. Like some of us could be forgotten forever or some of us could potentially bring bad luck to those around us. But like any family, we argue and disagree but we’re all trying, and we do love each other in our own separate ways. We might be worlds apart for all I know but that’ll never change a thing. I guess what I mean is that, in a way, I think that because we have such a strong bond, we aren’t afraid to be separated. They have faith in me as I faith in them so they don’t need to worry for when I leave for my own travels. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss them, there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about them. But it’s not good-bye, more like see you later. Plus, like I always say, friends come and go but family is forever. Whether you like it or not.

Reneé Alora is a wanderer like her father, she left the village at an early age with her parents still quite concerned about her traveling all by herself, so as departing gifts, they gave her the onyx pendant full of good luck and a companion hawk to protect her. Then off she went with her belongings, creating miracles of her own.

People always ask me why I travel alone. It’s not a common sight to see a girl traveling among the world all by herself. Well let’s just say I’m on a mission, one that I wish to complete or die trying to. Cause if I didn’t, I’d live knowing I didn’t try. I did live in the village with mama for quite some time, everyday was waiting for papa and miko to come home, listening to mama's stories, and splashing in streams with ra. I was happy as can be, living in the peaceful and serene village life. It was great, papa and miko would come back bearing gifts and stories, and I was content with it, I had no intentions of changing. However, soon enough, I felt like I didn’t quite belong. Papa and miko were working hard to spread words of mama and miko to prevent them from being forgotten. Sometimes it’s hard to believe my mama is a goddess, a deity that was once worshiped by many. Her powers are far beyond anyone’s comprehension and she’s seen far more then anyone will ever. Mama has suffered and ra is helping her with anyone she can at the village, plus she’s also figuring out her own powers. So what was my purpose?

I thought about it on and on, I wasn’t worried about mama or miko being forgotten, they we’re getting help and papa and miko could definitely handle it. So what if there was other people out there suffering from a curse like mama’s of being forgotten or left in the dark like papa that needed a little help to get back on track. The idea was crazy and almost impossible but that’s what made it even more exciting. The more I thought about it, the more it intrigued me. Finding a lost deity who was trapped forever or helping someone realize their true potential. It all sounded like a fairy tale. Papa and miko were already helping mama’s curse as ra was doing all that she could. I should use my own potential to help someone else who needs it. So with some convincing they agreed to let me travel, and off I went to help save a life, to make a new friend, and to keep a promise. A promise to do my best.

Family Relations

Chrysaor cares deeply about his cursed family members and was lucky enough to not receive one of the curses from his parents, due to this he is determined to find a 'cure' to both the curses, or at least something that will weaken them.
Now, this sounds like a good cause, right? wrong. Chry has a very aggressive way of looking for the 'cure', he intimidates and threatens anyone he think may help him. Sure, his family may not approve of his ways but it has gotten him somewhere, countless leads and experimental cures he brings back to his family, a smile on his face.
Due to all the information he has gathered, he became a mage, learning many advanced spells, because he thinks that more than likely the cure to the curses is a spell and a very advanced one. He knows spells that could level a forest and those that could mend broken bones.
His relationship with his family is broken, his father and mother disagree with his aggressive approach to solving their problems as well as his siblings, some may say he's a little monstrous, especially after he picked up that necklace.
Despite the fact his family relationship is broken, he tries, he loves them and thinks the only way to help them is by brute force and means of intimidation. Later in life, Chry will start to give up and grow distant from his family as he feels like they don't want his help, maybe Taura tries to tell him this and if she does, he won't listen, because by the time she will know her brother is too far gone.

Chrysaor walked down the path, his hair done up in a tight bun to keep it off of his neck, it was hot, and something smelled fowl. He stopped, a dead body, a brilliant glowing necklace was hung neatly around their neck and it was drawing Chrysaor closer and so, he drew closer, reaching forward he gripped the jewel firmly and pulled, it came off with ease. He began to examine it and something told him to put it on, and so he did. Instantly, his hand dropped and when he reached up to touch it, he couldn't, it was like some force was preventing him from undoing the clasp. He was shocked, this necklace was cursed and he was now it's latest victim, he was now like his family.
Chrysaor wasn't going to let a curse of his own hold him down.

relationship with family. the eldest of the siblings, suzu feels as though she carries the weight of the curse and insuring her mother is not forgotten. suzu loves her family more than she loves herself. but she always feels the heavy burden on her shoulders.

suzu is quite close with her sister taura, and loves to bring her souvenirs from her days in the town and see her eyes light up as she toys with her new nick-nack. suzu is fiercely protective of taura and will go ballistic if anything happens to her. this can often cause a squabble between the two as suzu almost always tries to keep taura from doing something or influences her choices because she believes it is the best for her little sister. and on the other end, taura wants a little freedom from her lovingly-overbearing sister. at the end of the day, though, suzu would sacrifice her life for taura. she does everything to protect her.

whenever suzu gets to hear from tomiko is a fantastic day. being only a year older than her sister, suzu was there for tomiko's initial departure from their home with her father when they were very young. now older, the two write to each other very frequently and suzu will often send pouches of fortunes for kenzo and tomiko to share.

suzu and her father have always been,, emotionally and physically distant. of course suzu loves him and wants to make him proud by sort of "filling his shoes," but she barely knew him when she was young. her fond memories are with taura, tomiko and hareta, but kenzo seems to be foggy. suzu tries to bond with him when he visits, but the whole thing seems forced to her. slightly discouraged though still hopeful, suzu writes to him and always wishes him good fortune.

hareta is very important to suzu. she adores her beauty and capacity to love endlessly. suzu loves to fall asleep in the protective arms of her mother, who means the world to her.

unlike her sister tomiko, suzu didn't inherit the curse their mother has. instead, a strange breed of her father's power was passed down. with a kiss, suzu has the power to bring luck to whomever she desires. it does not rely solely on belief from the people, however it is strengthened a great deal when faith in the magic is present. she lives with hareta and taura, and she runs a small hut in the village. there, she bakes fortune cookies and hand-writes the fortunes based on who ordered it. before wrapping the cookie, kisses the fortune to make it come true. when others come to her shop, suzu goes on and on about how wonderful the goddess who watches over their village is. and, when others ask how she knows the lady of the hills, suzu gives a small wink and says: "all you gotta do is believe." annually, suzu holds a flower festival in the village in honor of hareta. the whole point of the festival is to thank the lady of the hills by lining the streets with sunflowers, in hopes she will bless them with a lush harvest once more.

Momoe

She isn’t quite like her family, but she isn’t quite unlike them either.

Born blind, It was agreed that she would stay with Hareta and Taura until further notice. Thinking this was her only problem, she and Taura were allowed to visit town together. After Momoe’s first trip though, Taura realized, the amount of touching and bumping between Momoe and the people of the town was sky rocketing the positive-luck, and causing a butterfly effect. Obviously this was dangerous for multiple reasons, so Momoe was kept inside, well away from danger.

Momoe has a high imagination, always pretending and playing around, but the biggest thing that scares her sister and mother, is how much she doesn’t pay attention to her surroundings. She’s too care-free and makes everyone in her family agree all the more that she isn’t ready to do anything outside of her mother and Taura’s care.

Kenzo: much like her sister, Taura Ran, Momoe doesn’t have much contact with her father, as he is off traveling. He’s really gentle in her perspective, and she wishes they could spend more time together, but traveling would be to dangerous for her, so her thoughts are just wishful thinking.

Tomiko: Momoe has a special bond with Tomiko, she can see how lively she is just by the way she speaks, her stories on the road and the people she meets, Momoe looks forward to their birthday just to get to be with her again. One thing that she always says to Tomiko, is that she is the most beautiful person she has ever met, and she never lets her forget that.

Taura Ran: like siblings who live together, they have a love hate relationship sometimes. Momoe often gets jealous that her sister is allowed to leave home even just a little, but compared to Taura, Momoe is rather childish, and whiny. There will be days, when Momoe comes to Taura crying, simply because she feels lonely, especially if their mother is not right there with her. Taura will often be the one to try and distract Momoe from her loneliness, by suggesting a game of hide and seek, or something that includes going to find Hareta.

Hareta: Momoe doesn’t quite understand the depths of her mother’s curse, knowing only the fact of “she can disappear.” It scares her so much so, that she clings to her mother, and always touches her if she’s quiet too long to make sure she is still there. And at times, if her mother has something she needs to do that doesn’t include Momoe, it sends Momoe into a panic, and she makes her mother promise she will be back. There are times, when Hareta will walk away without telling Momoe while she isn’t paying attention, in hopes she will be distracted long enough for her to get something done, and only moments later, Momoe is in the other room desperately searching for her like the house is burning down.
