This, at least, is far easier than the other ingredients he has had to gather, and when Auntie Appletun simply hands him her treasured mixer, he smiles with what is almost relief. Griffin is too small to stand on the ground and still reach the bowl, so he flutters up on strong wings to stand upon the counter (having already, with vigor, wiped his feet off on the welcome mat by the door when he entered her kitchen), positions the whisk, and starts. At first he is clumsy, the bowl skittering across the table such that Auntie has to hold it still, but after a while of apparent struggle he finds a position where he can hold the bowl still and still whisk, and the custard slowly stiffens to a smooth cream.

Griffin nudges the bowl towards Auntie, and she smiles, placing a paw on the top of his head to pat.

Now... time to decide if he's ready for this pie.

Alex and Smith found themselves breathing out a sigh of relief, pleased with themselves. They had all four ingredients they wanted, and now it was just a small matter of deciding whether these would be the final ingredients or if they wished to trade them out. The first one was an easy decision. "I LOVE peaches," Alex told Smith with a smile, as he started to do the prep work on them. "Pumpkin was a close second, but, peaches! That should be something different and exciting for the Fall season yes? Everyone always thinks pumpkins and apples... why not fresh peaces hmm?" He shows Smith how he works, taking a sharp knife to cut peaches in half and remove the pits first. Well, after washing the fruit of course! Then the soft fuzzy skin is removed, leaving them a bowl of wonderful peach slices! "Yes, you may have one," he reassures, sneaking a slice down to Smith as well as himself. Have to taste everything along the way to ensure the best pie after all!

The next step was to work with the ruby gleam. "Not to worry Smith, I've got this under control! Have to put this machoke strength to use!" They add, grabbing a mortar and pestle. Placing the Ruby Gleam inside they start to ground it finely, until only a bright red powder is left. "Take a look!" Alex proclaimed. "Pretty isn't it? Onto the next ingredient! What was it again... ah! The Sweet Wood!"

He sets the Ruby Gleam in a bowl, cleans out the mortar and pestle, and this time places the Sweet Wood inside. This ingredient gets the same treatment until it becomes a finely grounded powder, fragrant and ready to be used. He brings the powder down for Smith to smell, who immediately sneezes causing Alex to laugh. "Careful my friend! That stuff is potent! And now for the... yes! The Alcremie Cream!" He walks over towards the fridge, pulling it out. All four hands carefully work the cream into a soft, airy texture, creamy and delicious! "Alright Auntie, we're all set!" He proclaims, bringing the items all over to her with a proud smile.

It was the bulk of the pie she had ready, and with her aid he mixes together the ingredients and folds them in. A top is placed over everything, a fine dusting of sugar, before they watch as it is placed inside the oven to bake.

"And now the hardest part," Alex proclaims. "Now we wait..."

Ezra had seemed quite uninterested in the day's selection, which left just Terra and Port. The two stared at each other, both groaning,"Yes Ms. Appletun, we'd love to help." Terra carefully examined the room before settling on a rotating cake platter,"Just sit there and hold the spoon until I get tired Port, then we can swap." She pranced right over, grabbed the platter, and put the bowl on top. Maybe not the most conventional way but.. it ended up working somehow, even if it did take longer.

As soon as Auntie Appletun mentioned the word 'chocolatey', Mark and Eric immediately turned to look at Kara. Kara looked back at them with an innocent expression. "What?"

"We're going to be getting these chocolate things, huh?" Eric replied with an amused smirk.

"Yay!" Kara cheered. Mark laughed. And so, the trio set out to collect some Pokebeans. They asked around and learned that there was a store in town run by some Pokemon who had moved here from the Alolan region. Upon visiting the store, they were happy to see that there were Pokebeans for sale there. They purchased a few handfuls and then went searching for a fire type Pokemon who could roast the Pokebeans for them.

Fortunately, there was a duo of Flareons nearby who agreed to help them out. By the time the two Flareons were finished roasting the Pokebeans, they were a variety of colors, just like Auntie Appletun said they should be. The trio thanked the Flareons for their help and then headed back to Auntie Appletun's house.

indentAggraligatr upon their return to Aunties was happy to hear they wouldn’t have to go searching for the last ingredient and was more than happy to lend their assistance. Being a strong physical attacker it was no problem for them to crush the shells between their palms, carefully picking out the nuts before discarding the shells. It was a comforting repetitive task that was nice to focus on after running around for the past couple days collecting random things. They asked Auntie if they had any stories to tell them while they finished up with the pecans, and happily listened to whatever it was that Auntie decided to share with them as they’d thought about the pie they were going to bake and share with their friends.

As the warm sun was shining on the beach, Helado did his best to stick to the shade, taking his time walking around looking. Being an ice type was both helpful and a detriment under the sun, feeling his fur stinging quickly if he stood outside the shade, but not feeling the high temperature as the air around his fur remained cool.
But that also meant he wasn't really looking to get into any fights, but he swore it was just out of practically, because according to himself, he could beat anyone, even the mightiest crabrawler. Just, maybe, another day...
Sticking to the shade was the perfect plan anyways, since most of the shade came from the palms, and the coconuts fell right under. Even though some were scattered around and were lying farther away, Helado choose to stick to the ones in ease of access, picking up decently-sized chunks and half broken pieces with his mouth to put them in a little bag to take back to the cabin, trying to ignore the taste of sand and salt that was left in his mouth (and trying to not bite down too hard, as he was slightly scared of breaking a tooth because of how solid they were, or maybe he had gotten mistaken and picked up a rock that time. To be honest, it could've been any of the two-), while enjoying the calm day on the beach, and the relaxing sound of the close swishing of the waves.

Harold had made up his mind: he liked Auntie Appletun. Sure, she might have been a little bit horrified of the state of the marshtomp's foot he'd brought back, but she never yelled at him like some other pokemon might have, and instead coaxed him along to her kitchen. Her voice was soft. And he was happy to comply when she offered to help him make something in place of the apparently unacceptable fungus he'd brought her.

He didn't fail, with Auntie. He got to try again.

Cooking was strange business, anyway. Apparently the fungus was unappetizing, but whatever white slop she'd dumped into a mixing bowl wasn't. Harold wasn't a cook, so he wouldn't know. She handed him a strange stick with a mass of wires in the shape of a bulb on the end. A... whisk. Harold repeated the word in his head. Maybe he would find more uses for such a device later. For now, he did as he was told and let the whisk's bulb sink into the sludge.

"Give it a stir, young man!"

He obliged. The motion of repeatedly making circles with his arm was odd, but not entirely unpleasant. Sure, it was new to him, so it tired him quickly, The tiredness didn't prevent him from continuing his frenetic pace. He wanted to make Auntie happy.

A few drops of the liquid splattered onto his sleeve, which he reminded himself to lick clean later. The irritation was completely forgotten when Auntie spoke up again, however. "Oh, it's perfect! See how it peaks! Don't overdo it, now!"

None of this made sense to him, as the white sludge still looked like white sludge, but he relented and placed the bowl on the kitchen counter and turned to leave. His job was done.

"Oh, wait, will you?" Harold stopped in his tracks and turned back around. Auntie looked as if she was about to sweep him into a hug. "You must be tired from all of that whipping! Stay and have some toast and jam with me?"

In normal circumstances, Harold was one to continue about his business and ignore social calls. ...But he could make an exception.

Just for Auntie.

Bake!: Bav collected all the pie ingredients faster than he thought! He did a bit of adventuring here and coaxing there to collect all his ingredients with such great help along the way. though he is rather proud that he didn't need to ask help from his team members. Hopefully that means Bav can be trusted with more missions like this in the future! Maybe even lead a pokemon team of his own since he was able to travel by himself. Though, he did get lost a few times along the way, the swamp trip for the marshtomp glove was pretty hectic and spooky. Yes he made it out in one piece even after the the cramorant's voracious appetite for bells.

Now he is gathered in the kitchen to hopefully bake a pie. Auntie provided a step by step recipe so what could go wrong? First he prepped all the dough. For the base, he mixed together flour, salt and sugar. The flour coated everything in a thin layer of white when he was a bit overzealous with pouring out the bag. Then he added butter and kneaded it with his paws until it held some shape. He added an egg and mixed it together again. The dough was still looking a little bit too dry so he also added a bit of water to it as well. The sattreon was extracted and grinded into a lovely golden paste then added into the dough.

The instructions said to roll out the dough on parchment paper so he tried to make it as round and flat as possible to fit it into the pan. He left it in the fridge for an hour. In the meanwhile, he prepared the special ingredients he collected.

The apples were diced into small pieces and set aside. The cramberries were mushed into a jam. Then finally, the marshtomp glove was cut finely into pieces and then crushed into a powder.

With the apples, he combined it with sugar. Looks like he will have to use the stove to melt the sugar to actually make the filling! He did so until the mixture was a nice golden brown then mixed the cramberries into it. He also added a dash of marshtomp glove powder to make it irresistible. Looks like it's time to take a brake while everything is cooling down.

After his run around the neighbourhood and nap afterwards, he went back to the dough. He split the dough in too and draped one part over the pie pan. Then he poured the cooled down filling in, it was rather hard to pour so he ended up scraping it in with a spatula. With that done, he draped the other half of the dough on top and sealed the edges well. Oops, can't forget about the venting holes! No fancy designs for his pie, it's good to start simple before it explodes out of proportion.

To enhance the goldeness, he took some egg wash with the sattreon paste and brushed it over the pie. After, he baked it for 45 minutes and gave it another fine dusting of glove powder.

Ah it was beautiful and smelled so lovely!! Baking the pie was a lot easier than collecting the ingredients. He hopes his team mates will enjoy it!

Prompt(s): One stir, two stir, three. Charlotte gently whisked around the concoction with a single paw, and a large smile begun forming on her face. It’d been so long since she’d cooked with somebody else, it felt nice to be able to do such again. Auntie slowly turned around, and begun to pour in an egg mixture. Whisk, whisk, whisk! “Your house is mighty cozy” she smiled, to which the Appletun just smiled in return, and nodded her thanks. “I try… It’s nice to have visitors over again. I’m glad you find it comfortable.” She beamed. Charlotte took the custard mix in her paws, and carefully put it into the fridge to cool. “All done! For now at least.” she smiled, and made her way over to a chair. She rocked back and forth, holding a cup of cider. “Come! I made some cider ‘fore I left, let’s share some while we wait for this here custard to cool off.” Charlotte offered, to which Auntie just lumbered over with a smile. “Yes…That’d be sweet, thank you..”
