As newtstar let out an amused chuckle a skinny vole ran by. The she-cat gave chase but was ultimatly unsuccessful. Disapointed she looks around. Newtstar sees a something interesting, upon further inspection she realized it's food! +1scraps, +1FP, +1XP
After finding the little food she could newtstar had new energy to her. She continues looking around until she sees a golden glow just beyond a pile of snow. Newtstar has found a herb! +1 honey, +1XP

Lemurtail decided to go on a hunt when early rays of the sun just started caressing the earth. In the dim light she saw perfectly and without a problem sneaked up on some unsuspecting prey. +2FP, +1 mouse, +2XP
Later in the day, when the sun was high on the sky and warmed up their bodies against the chilly wind, the cats found a nice little clearing, dense with growing herbs. +1 Willow Bark, +1 Yarrow, +1 Feverfew, +1 Lavender, +4XP

Since the cats decided not to pursue the badger's scent and just leave him be, it spent a couple of minutes looking for berries and soon left their territory. Predator left.

Baderpatch stretched after he woke up from his sleep, flicking his tail as he listens to his clanmates chatting outside. He scoffed as he stepped out of his den, slightly upset from being woken up by the commotion. Upon walking out, he was cheerfully greeted by Featherstar, with Larchgaze and the newcomer Duskheart not paying to much attention.

"I'm telling you, we should patrol up towards the north instead!" Larchgaze spoke in defiance, glaring at Duskheart. "No, the south would be better," Duskheart spoke softly, staring down at her paws.

"Enough! What are you two complaining about?" Badgerpatch huffed, squinting his eyes as he slowly adjusted to the sunlight outside. "They're trying to decide where to patrol." Featherstar turned her gaze back onto her two clanmates, with a soft look on her face.

"We all know the north would be better this time of year!" Larchgaze snapped back in return, with Badgerpatch beginning to lash his tail. "This is nonsense! Just split the patrol into two separate ones!" He scoffed at Larchgaze specifically, then turned his attention towards Duskheart.

"How about this, I'll patrol with the newcomer, while you two patrol the opposite way," Badgerpatch spoke confidently, with Featherstar nodding her head in agreement. Larchgaze closed his eyes, sighing as he calmed himself down.

"That should work, I suppose." Larchgaze's voice grew quieter as he got up to stand beside Featherstar. The newcomer picked herself up to stand beside Badgerpatch, just happy to be done with the argument.

With that, the two separate patrols headed off in their directions, with Badgerpatch and Duskheart heading towards the south, and Featherstar and Larchgaze heading towards the north side of the territory.

Newtstar was unable to find good food in the cold weather. She saw a couple dead prey but all were well passed their eating date. It would be unsafe to being any back to camp.
The chilly winds seem to have cut through a lot of the living herbs around your camp, maybe Newtstart should try again another time?

A single rogue attacked Newtstar out of nowhere! She was so caught up in looking for herbs that she missed any signs of a predator in the area. cedarfang nimbly and carefully picked her way out of the camp she'd located in a valley by the highway. her ears twitched thoughtfully as she turned towards the mountains, a much safer option than heading across the highway that cut her territory short. with an easy nod, she aimed herself to the lake. maybe there would be some good fishing tonight? somehow, she ended up near the river, not too far from the lake but also not a trip she wanted to make. her whiskered twitched in irritation for a few moments while she debated on heading down stream but instead followed her instinct to stay at the river.

Streamstar kayed beneath the comfort and shade of the trees that towered above her clan's territory, pondering on what she should get done today. Deciding it had become time for a hunt, she considered the safest possible area to wander off to. The lakes and stream down the mountain wasn't an option as the ice would be thick this time of the year, and any attempt to fish would be futile. Perhaps there would be something of value hiding deep within the fallen leaves up the mountain, where a dense forest lied. She contemplated this decision for a moment before giving herself a small nod as she began to trot up the mountain, keeping alert for any sound that she would be able to hear.
