While Jett is an interesting viscet and draws a lot of attention to himself based on his trait, he isn't a very well-liked or easy to get along with kind of guy. While he can be witty with his words he's often too quick to get offended or to lose his temper. He jumps to conclusions too easily and acts without thinking more often than he should. This is in part because he's got such a fiery and very confident personality. In fact, Jett is too overly confident in everything that concerns him. He thinks extremely high of himself and of his talents. He believes himself to be well loved and so unique because of his pelt but also because of his personality which isn't at all the case. He gets angry easily when others disagree to try to tell him that he's full of himself. Though whether he'd admit it or not he is full of himself. Prideful to a fault and very boastful about everything. Which is why brazen suits him as a personality trait so well, he truly is bold and without shame. He has no shame when it comes to just about anything, and his boldness has certainly turned off many a relationship but naturally, Jett doesn't see himself as the problem.

Short story about the viscet:

Jett has a lot of stories and he loves re-telling to anyone who gives him half a moment's worth of an invitation. His favorite story to tell is a bit far-fetched but is about how he was a model for a day. He accounts as being a very big achievement but most just roll their eyes at his story.

"Seriously," Jett said as he shifted from foot to foot and grinned wider. "I was just strolling down the boulevard and I just get called out to out of nowhere." He watched the other viscet scoff at him a moment. "Honest to god, I'm telling the truth. I heard someone call out "Jett!" from somewhere behind me. So I turned around to see who had called out my name and here comes this viscet fellow I've never seen before in my life. He just runs up to me and says he's short one man on the runway and needs me desperately." The female cocked an eyebrow at him in disbelief, she wasn't buying it. "I couldn't make this up, I'm telling you. I was surprised to be approached by this man who I didn't know at all but somehow knew my name. But I agreed because I'm just that kind of guy. The type to help someone in need so selflessly." As he said this, the female rolled her eyes again this time more in disgust. "So being the good samaritan I am, I went back to the show with this fellow. I was dressed in some of the most fantastic clothes you'll have ever seen and I got to admit I looked pretty dang fine." He grinned all the more telling this story, the female smiled weakly but lashed her tail in annoyance as he continued his story. "I strutted myself confidently down the catwalk. There were "oohs" and "ahhs" from the crowd and everyone was catching photos of me. And I mean after all what wouldn't look good on me? Any color works for me considering these markings." He went on about the experience and how the crowd and everyone adored him. To end his story he straightened up his outfit, "and this outfit that you see right here is one of the outfits I modeled that they let me keep. Can you believe it?"

Out of all the times, he has told this story he never explains what really happened. While Jett genuinely did get called out to by a stranger to model some outfits for a fashion show the fellow did not know or recognize him whatsoever. The crowd may have been full of "oohs" and "ahs" but it was mostly due to his pelt and eyes changing a different color when he took the floor. He'd strike a pose and his pelt would change and send the crowd into even more excitement. But the biggest thing he leaves out of his story is why he was never asked to model again. This reason is simple and most of the people he tells his version of the story to understand exactly why he didn't get called to "help out" again. Because he's even too confident to be a model.

Your favorite experience in the community:

Picking my favorite experience in this community is very difficult but that's because there are a lot of really fantastic experiences and moments I've had. And figuring out exactly what constitutes as an experience is difficult but if I had to pick one, I'd say it is this wonderful pm I got Doctor Whooves Lover sometime back in March this year. Although I don't always reply to every pm I get, I promise I do read them all and this one came at a time in which I least expected it. The pm was really a pm of thanks and appreciation and there are just no words to describe how much of an impact this singular pm had on me at that time. I worry a lot about how the decisions I make with the community will affect individuals as well as how they'll respond to it all. But ever since I was given ownership of this species back in January, while it's still been trying and difficult, I feel as though everything has gone over so smoothly. And this single pm from a very kind and sweet soul made my day, my week and even now brings a smile to my face. Just knowing others appreciate you and appreciate your work in something like this is so very encouraging. It really is what helps me keep going and striving to find more ways to improve our community. <3

Your favorite experience in the community: My favorite experience in the community has had to be the nursery artist competition; although I was not hired the first time I tried, I gained a lot of experience and interaction with staff members when I nagged them with tons of questions and asked for critiques on my entry batches, especially Mint and Strudel. I still remember how much I would ask Mint how I was doing on a particular pair, haha! When I tried out for the second time after I wasn't hired the first time, I felt myself determined to boost my own confidence to keep working -- and several community members showed me their support in that time, and made me glow with pride for the first time in so long when I posted the batch between Delilah x Apollo, which is still one of my favorite batches done to this date (even though it wasn't a real batch). Getting hired thrilled me so much, and honestly, I still can't really believe that I'm part of staff; I seriously doubt people admire me like they do with my fellow staff members (not that I mind at all!), but I do have a certainty that I've been helpful with any questions or customs people have asked me to do. Being a part of staff has helped me boost my own confidence and it's allowed me to connect and get closer to members I had never once imagined interacting with before. It still makes me happy to see others being hired, too! It expands our artist family, and although I'm pretty awkward and don't talk to others much outside of select friends, I still feel the support we all have for each other -- staff or not.
