Giovanni has always desperately loved art. His mother worked for a number of museums restoring paintings damaged by age or weather and had cultivated quite a name for herself by the time she bore her first son. Giovanni remembers his childhood well, remembers sitting at the foot of his mother's easel and watching her bring to life a painting that had all but vanished under the veneer of time. He lost his mother early to an aggressive cancer but he did not lose his affection for the arts, and as he got older he practiced doing what his mother had done. He had spent hours with her work and he took to it quite naturally, and inevitably museums began approaching him as well. By the time Giovanni was twenty he was restoring pieces for museums and private collectors on the other side of the world.

Giovanni's descent into crime was a natural one, then. He loved the paintings he worked with so ardently that when he discovered they were being mistreated (left in direct sunlight or abandoned in a back room or lent illegally to interested parties) he simply kept them for himself. These pieces he would duplicate on a second canvas of equal age, and he would meticulously match colors and textures and style so his would pass as the original. He grew adept at mimicking the signatures of famous artists whose names were etched into his very soul. Giovanni returned these fakes and kept the real paintings for himself, put on display at his home in Chicago for only his thirsty eyes. Giovanni does not see this precisely as a crime; rather he believes that he loves the paintings far more deeply than their previous owners, and thus they deserve to be with him.

what are they passionate about;; Mahogany as odd and boring as it may seem is very passionate about rocks! His favorite thing to study in school is the rock cycle and the Law of Superposition. Even though most of his classmates were bored learning about that stuff he found it fascinating. He's often seen strolling around the neighborhood scouting out new rocks to add to his collection. Mahogany's favorite rock type is Metamorphic rock because he loves how it changes over time. Even though he doesn't get to see the change he thinks its fascinating.

what are they passionate about;; azula is extremely passionate about the ocean, and ocean inhabitants. sheisba marine biologist, studying the sea creatures and the things that live in the ocean depths. she will jump at any chance she gets to talk about her passion, and wont shut up for hours. she loves learning, and the ocean's mystery is very intriguing to her. she travels the world, researching and discovering marine life.

Beep. Beep. Beep.
Each slight blip is accompanied by the continual tracing of the glowing line, never getting anywhere for how far it was going. This is Jack's passion--keeping that going until the patient left his care. Intermittent failures were to be expected, but that didn't mean Jack didn't wait with baited breath upon each struggling line, doing his best to bolster it and return it to a healthy stage.

what are they passionate about;; kairo is passionate about being a director. he has always been interested in film, and his dream is for one of his short films to become really big. he's actually already directed quite a few short films, though they aren't popular. occasionally, he acts in his own films, however he prefers to stay behind the camera. he loves helping with set design, finding the perfect actors, and definitely enjoys reading scripts whether he wrote them himself or someone he knows wrote it.
aside from movies, kairo also directs music videos! not for big name artists or anything, just those smaller bands/artists who aren't very well known. he's more than happy to help them get the attention they deserve and if that's by helping them direct a music video, he's up for it.
wrapping up a project then going back to watch it is one of the best parts of the experience for kairo, no matter the project.

Fountains are very important to Chris. Well, not so much the fountain itself, but the wishes that you make in it. Every time that Chris sees a fountain, he has to make a wish. It's something that his father always did with him when he was younger. If he doesn't have a penny, he'll use a nickel. If not that, then a dime. If not that, then a quarter. Now, in the situation that he doesn't have any coins, he'll begin to panick. Which is pretty embarrassing when he's out with friends. But he feels an emotional attachment to the action of actually making a wish. He vowed that he would always make a wish in every fountain he passed. So Chris will ask around for a coin until he gets one from somebody or scour the ground until he finds one. It's very important to him, even if it seems silly to others.

The stars in the dark omber blue sky above them shone bright against their bleak background. There was no moon out, just the small flecks of light hundreds of thousands of miles away. It was oddly calming, although extremely lonely. Ally grinned up at the pulsing sky above. There were so many things to think about and so many things to contemplate. Life was full of so many experiences and heart aches that it was almost impossible to find something everyone liked or disliked. Alcaeus was out on a mission to find exactly that for himself. In a planet of several billion other bodies, not including the animals and the like, it was hard to find oneself. You could get lost in the stampede of those currently existing, long gone, and those to come. Names faded into history books and eventually off the pages entirely until no one mattered in the grand scheme of things. Ally wanted to find his way. He wanted to find his passion, weather it be positive or negative. He wanted to find himself. Not for any others, not to end up in the history books or sprawled with his life exposed on the internet. No, he wanted to find himself … for himself. To be happy in his life for himself and inner peace.
