Fang owns a detailed, chinese cleaver. He adores it's little handle, as it reminds him of the rain in the autumn, the snow in the winter, the woods in the spring and the sun in the summer. Yes, it sounds like a complete.. riddle. But to him, the knife holds a special place in his heart. He originally found it outside a twoleg home, clean and shiny, but now it's dirty, with a few leaves on the handle. The handle has a little marking, that has the Japanese word for love, "愛" (if not possible, "Ai" is fine) on it.

His homeland is similar to our Ancient Egypt, ruled by dynasties and covered in sand. However, the Black Savannah, as the name suggests, is filled to the brim with black, volcanic sand, dust, and ash. They're developed special ways to clean the debris out of their pelts as a result. c:

Prompt: This knife seems to be carved from animal bone, though from what animal or which part of the animal is hard to say. The blade is about 5 inches long, with both equally sharp edges slowly curving into a fine point. The handle, also carved from the same bone, is tightly wrapped in thread, making for an easy grip. While fairly simplistic in appearance, there's no doubt that great care was taken in this knife's creation. It was made primarily with self-defense in mind, as will whomsoever finds themselves on the wrong side of the blade will quickly learn.

With a sigh, you take a look at the sky.
How long have you been waiting now? It's been ages since you petitioned the leader for their leaving cat, but multiple others have tried as well.
Several felines are positioned around you, some waiting patiently, their tails neatly curled around their paws, some agitated, ears folded back as they hiss something about organizing evening patrols and going for a hunt if this takes much longer. Watching them used to be entertaining for a while, but by now the sun is nearing the horizon and there's still no word from the leader's den. You're getting a bit impatient, but from experience you know that rushing is the fastest way to get disqualified from the competition and there are many others willing to rush in and claim your spot.
Finally, some movement from within. However, it's not the leader you've spoken to earlier - instead a handsome lilac tom steps into the fading light. Next to him walks the cat you are here for; your clan's newest member, maybe? The tom, whom you've been introduced to and recognize as Birchmist, clears his throat importantly and a tense silence falls over you.
