It isn't a secret that Raiden hates the big city.

Growing up in the forests and swimming in lakes, moving to the big city for work
was a massive culture shock. Between the noise, the crowds, and the lack of
greenery, he found himself getting stressed and miserable, even despite having
his dream job. So, after almost a year, he did something about it: he made the
roof of his condo building into a community garden, and got everyone involved.
Tragedy struck quickly, though, as his plants were barraged by snails, ruining
the vegetables and killing the seedlings. But Raiden was clever, and knew just
who to rely on.

The male Kalon purchased a colony of fireflies, and housed them within the
garden. Young fireflies would eat the snail larvae, and adults would pollinate the
plants, all while being beautiful and unable to sting residents like bees would. It
was a perfect solution, and everything flourished. Often, Raiden eats dinner and
reads until after nightfall, just to watch his colony. Eventually he noticed one
firefly in particular kept hanging around him; it got to the point that it began to
land on his knee or his book, and just sit there until he left. The blue-lighted insect
was larger that his counterparts, and Raiden quickly grew a strong bond with it. He
quickly dubbed it "Excalibur" - a reference to his middle name - and to this day you
can find Excalibur hitching a ride whenever Raiden is working on the garden.

There's a gentle chill to the air. Trees stand tall, full of life, despite the surrounding debris from fallen buildings. He'd chosen a taller tree and perched himself in the center, bow in hand rather than a rifle so as not to attract any unwanted attention. There he sat, nearly as silent as the world around him, waiting for a rustle in the bushes to catch his attention.

His goal is to make sure that his colony eats tonight, but there's something else he's looking for, too. A white stag.

People told him he was crazy when he'd first told them about it. A pale, white deer with shiny antlers? They said he was losing his mind. But he knew that deer was somewhere in the forest.

As he thinks, he fails to note a creature wander before his perch. A buck, grazing from the low brush quietly. Faustus feels a rush when he finally sees it. He takes his bow out, pulls the string back, and aims. As he lets the arrow fly, he sees the rest of the herd slowly begin to wander closer-- and then take off. He doesn't think much of it as he hops down from the tree, until he catches a glimpse of it-- a patch of pale fur far in the distance. He pulls his bow out again, but it's too late; he's lost sight of it. He grumbles, shaking his head as he slings his kill over his back. Maybe next time.

Rubix's relationship with his service dog is unbelievable, despite having type 2 diabetes. Rubix's companion; a blue heeler/ husky mix named Bleu stands by his side alerting him just in time to offer him a insulin that he carries with him in a tiny bag that is strapped to his side. Rubix first met Bleu long before he was diagnosed and had raised him from a puppy, in return Bleu loves Rubix alot for raising him and loving him for the many years and cherishes and is dedicated to take care of Rubix in return for loving and caring for him all those years. Both are almost inseparable not just because Bleu is a service dog but the two are almost like siblings to each other, having each others back when needed most. Rubix needed Bleu the most in his heart to protect him and alert him of signs in order not to get hurt and it just warms his heart to know his dog is there for him and will always work hard around the clock to ensure his owners safe and healthy.
