all these plants were so foreign to sweetwhisker, she hadn’t quite got the hang of it yet… the whole ordeal was confusing, honestly. she followed her best friend into the great big unknown, and now they live in a barn together- which, isn’t that weird. cats already live in barns, they found some living here already, afterall.
but what was weird was the fact that some magical, all-knowing dead cats talked to her and cherrystar in their dreams. was she going crazy?! sweetwhisker wasn’t entirely sure she even believed all of this, but i mean, how couldn’t she? see saw it with her own two eyes.
these… ’cats’ gave them funky new names, sweetwhisker and cherrystar, and they gave cherrystar nine lives, or something like that! nine lives! it was… strange, to say the least. they told cherrystar and sweetwhisker to band together, along with the barn cats, and form a group- and apparently they weren’t the only ones, either. there’s multiple ‘clans’ of cats around them as well! sweetwhisker couldn’t really wrap her head around it, but this was her life now!
these strange cats talked in riddles all the time, instead of just telling her what to do. it was quite annoying, actually. they did some very odd things, for instance, leaving five cherries for her to wake up to! how was she even supposed to know what that meant? five points on a star and all, but she didn’t even know what a ‘clan’ was, let alone that cherry bomb would become cherrystar and lead one! and, not only that, that she would become their.. healer? where’d they get the bright idea she was good with herbs, and knowing what to do with them?!
well, it’s all happened already, there wasn’t really anything she could do about it. all she was sure of right now is that she was the healer of orchidclan, and her best friend was the leader; and that this was going to change her life forever.
