Jester stared up at the larger molly in awe, shaking her head when she realized she'd almost forgotten that she had a voice. She opened her mouth to speak, but quickly clamped it shut; she'd heard tales of these clan cats from her mother - how they were vicious brutes who didn't take to kittypets that well. And looking around, Jester could practically see the skepticism and judgement surrounding her. She frowned - well her current name wouldn't do. If she so much as breathed the word "kittypet" she'd surely be chased out, and then what?

As she mulled over what to say, the massive calico narrowed her eyes slightly. "Your name, little one." This time it wasn't a question; moreso a demand. Jester didn't fail to notice this, and stiffened slightly before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had to come up with a name, and she had to come up with it fast. Jester was too foreign a name, and simply wouldn't do. With a shaky voice, the kit meekly replied:

"My name is Jasperpaw."

Aspen- At first glance, you would think Aspenstone earned his prefix from his coat being the same color as the bark on the aspen tree, but there are no aspen trees in Ridgeclan. His parents learned about the tree from a traveler passing through who told them the story of how the tree was used to make shields and how it was said to help communicate with those who have passed. In honor of the story, his parents chose aspen as his prefix in hopes that he would take on the traits on the tree.

Stone- Aspenstone earned this name for being a hardheaded and strong tom, one to never budge when he's made up his mind. He's a rather large built tom on top of this and often ends up just plowing over those he meets in battle or simply holding his ground and using his large size to block those trying to get passed him.

snow was given to her by her mother Minnow, due to the her litter unfortunately being born in the last few weeks of a strenuous winter. Though she was the only white kit, her two siblings were named similarly; Hail and Flurry. Multiple of the Strays perished to the freeze, including her brother Hail. Minnow knew that her Snow was strong, stronger than any Winter to come - and paid tribute to the gods by deeming her after the very thing that threatening to wipe her out as a newborn. Snowshroud now wears the name with pride as a testament of her strength at such a young age.

shroud was given to her by the goddess Chioni upon completing her path of the gods, mainly due to the mystery that hung around her - "like a chill in the air" the snow leopard goddess had said. Not much is known about the cat's past, only that she reigned from Villages. -Shroud doubles for her specialization of Rogue, a sub-group of warriors dedicated to swiftness and stealth. Snowshroud has the uncanny ability to nearly disappear within any surroundings; as if she was nothing more than mist itself.
