Poem(Sonnet):

Shall I watch the waves of the crashing sea?
As they reflect the blue tint of the sky
But to somewhere else may mean more to thee
Like the mountains where the spirit can fly
And watch the horizon as the sun rises
Where the rocks may fall Crumbling and crippling
But to witness some of natures prizes
Can prove most peaceful with laughter rippling
Or to the pine forest where nature plays
To which sorrow would never cross their minds
A place to stay for the rest of their days
With some of the cases hope only blinds
Eleni thought this watching through embers
For her sad past is what she remembers

Story:
The air was crisp and warm; a nice spring evening. The sun was beginning it's routine set from the sky, which created a beautiful horizon filled with reds, oranges, yellows, and pinks. All colours of the sky resembled the inside of burning, fresh embers. Amongst these colours was a tall mountain that stood on its own. To the north of the mountain was a pine forest, to the east shrub land, to the west a meadow, and to the south, a sea. All these attributes to the scenery made the area attractive to many creatures; including a lonesome eagle. The creature was large, his wingspan double the size of any other of his kind. His mother birthed a single, unnaturally large egg, which contained a huge hatchling. Though this eagle was a disgrace to nature (in some's opinion), he didn't have any trouble finding one of the best places to nest in all the lands. Upon that single mountain was a crevice about half way up the south side. In that rocky opening, the eagle had made a nest of pine needles, seagull feathers, leaves from tender bushes, and tall grass. It was the softest nest that any bird could make, and it radiated the consuming scent of pine.

The eagle, tall and proud of his beautiful homeland, stood at the edge of his crevice and looked down at the blue sea. As he moved his talons to reposition himself and prepare for flight, a few pebbles started crumbling down the mountain side. The enormous bird took one last look at the sea and spread his huge wings. He glanced at the lengthily feathers, taking in the sight of his appendages. With one last shuffle of his talons, the eagle leapt off the cliff and tucked his wings close to his body. He dove downwards at gaining speeds, and when the ocean was four wingspans away from his beak, he pulled up, and flew against the horizon. The eagle created a beautiful shadow against the light sea.

Maybe nature did see him as beauty, no matter his size.

Your stripes are embers around me,
floating in a sea of grass.
Your colours blazing through the pine forest,
your shape out on the horizon.
As the day crumbles to night,
I know you will be with me forever.

Story/poem: The forest is like a sea, with thousands and thousands of tree's. Yet what would it be without the sun. The sun that burns with such intensity. Yet even though the sun burns hotter than embers the tree's forever reach, stretching to the sun, ever trying to get closer and closer all across the Horizon. For though the sun is capable of destroying all it all so gives all to the trees. The pine forest you see is is filled with thousands of trees all with roots that reach down into the earth. Because the earth you see has a center which is full of heat like the sun. You see the roots they wish the branches would see that the core is better than the sun, but the branches wish the roots would see that the sun is better than the core, warmer and brighter, Both wish with all there might to reach there source of heat, but tragically they will never reach they'r goal for by the branches reaching up and the roots reaching down they forever are stuck and will never reach the source of heat they crave to find, One reaching up one reaching down forever stuck in a paradox.

(Nyess, this poem has to do with her personality, it's not just an unrelated thing I threw together.)
Airships
Soaring high:
Pine forest, and sea,
Heightless skies-
but none higher than me!

Embers choke;
Crumbling worlds find sleep.
High above,
My skies look down and weep.

Old age dead;
Every ocean sighs.
Morning breaks;
I watch horizons die.

Soaring high:
Far below, the sea;
Airships fly-
but none higher than me!

"Mama,
Ye kya jaagha hai,*
Where the sun's bright roshni** never seems to slip under the horizon?
Where the pine forests meet the beautiful lakes and streams?
Where the earth is raw and vibrant with culture?
Kyu wo mujay batharethe que ye aacha jaagha nei hai-***
When the cool nights are warmed by the embers of a fire,
When the sea washes up to its beautiful shores?"

"Ay, meri beti,**** it is because they show us as a state in turmoil.
As a crumbling country that will soon become into chaos.
Iskii roshni bouth bright hei, maghar***** they show our night bombings.
Iskii forests aur lakes tho bouth magical hei, maghar****** they only see that it is the place where the terrorists reside.
Iskii lougho tho bouth special hei, maghar ******* they show them as all cold blooded killers and as uncouth."

"Tho pir, Mama, hamari Karachi bahaar se ek cheez laagtha hei, maghar aandar se pyaari?" +

"Gii, meri beti, hamari Karachi tho ek raaz hei, sirruf brave kye le." ++

* What place is this,
** light
*** Why did they tell me that this is not a nice place?
**** Oh, my daughter
***** Its light is very bright, but
****** Its forests and lakes are very magical, but
******* Its people are very special, but

+ So then, Mama, our Karachi (a city) looks like one thing from the outside, but beautiful from inside?
++ Yes, my daughter, our Karachi is a secret only for the brave to find.

Story/poem: Kalink misses the pine forest dearly as she walked along the sea shore. The forest was cut down because of bears that lived there. She also missed the shade from the beating sun. She would go there to calm herself and relax, but all she could think about is the embers and ashes that the forest now is.

Kalink glanced at the horizon and started to cry. She used to be hidden from the dreadful horizon by the forest. She sighed and sat down, getting her tail full of sand and mud. She moved her hooves around in the water, remembering how the forest protected her from the rain and snow. She hated water. She lifted her hoof and splashed the water, making some go on her face. She broke out crying and turned to the once was forest, stepping on ashes and broken wood, dead pone needles scratched her as she kept running.

All of a sudden she stopped and stared at a still living, tall pine tree. "They left all but one..." She whispered, still crying. She stepped on crumbling leaves from once bushes and walked up to the towering tree. She sat down next to it and put her face on it. She lay down under neath the sharp pine needles. She closed her eyes and said, "I will never let anything happen to you..."
