First time doing this, and wow, it's been a while since I've drawn anything, but I've been really wanting to try my hand at this.
Hope I captured the designs well. I was really inspired by the these two!
Also had a lot of fun doing the rolls for these kiddos! Idk why, but having rng tell me what I'm supposed to work with is so much fun :3

We are currently open to new applications!

:: Being an artist for Signature Ranch ::
We are currently accepting guest artists! A guest artist's time at Signature Ranch will last a 1 month span and they will be allowed to make free adoptables during this time. They will be allowed to make line edits, but must get them verified by valkyrie,, before posting the adoptable to the community. After their 1 month span, they will either be asked to stay permanently or will be allowed to re-apply for another guest artist position whenever they wish. Each guest artist will receive a Wishing Scroll at the end of their month, and every 1 month span you spend with us as a full artist will get you 1 MYO Key. The minimum requirement to stay a full time artist is 4 adopts a month. You may apply to both a guest artist and a nursery guest artist position, but will still only receive 1 MYO Key per month.

nope, there is no minimum! i would recommend maybe 2-3 though, so we can see your creativity and skill c: the species is up to the artist, we provided the 3 different animals to help anybody entering get a taste of what different lines would be like! and lastly no, there is no official form for the artist search, just link your past entries in any future ones.

any and all questions are welcome, i don't want there to be any confusion as i want people to be confident in their entries! <3

Something is happening to betta fish around the world! They are sprouting legs! With these new found features they are escaping their enclosures to find a new home. Many have theorized that faeries are responsible for this sudden phenomenon; some believing they sneak into homes and stores in the night to help their fishy friends. Now, Faettas have been spotted wandering from puddle to puddle in search of a better life.
Will you help one?

Welcome to the artist search.
Please read the rules before entering. Any that break these rules will be ignored.

Rules

- Do not make covers for your entries.
- Do not use this lineart unless you are entering.
- Only 3 entries max every 6 months. Any more will be ignored.
- One entry must have some kind of edit. Being able to draw and edit the lineart is required by artists.
- List the rarity and fin type, and any edits you do.

If selected you will receive a pm from me offering a guest artist position.
After a month of being a guest artists I'll offer you a fulltime artist position.

- Guest artist can not make Faetta's for pets, C$, offsite currency, or real currency.
- After a month and if the guest artist has made at least 3 Faettas for adoption can they make a custom for themselves.

-Artist may make Faetta's for currency only after making 2 Faettas for non currency adoptions.
-Artist can make 1 custom Faetta at the end of the month, epic or under. You can opt to wait 2 months for a custom mythic Faetta.

welcome to our artist search this is where you can apply to be an official artist for our species, which means that you will be able to make official adopts, help in planning events, make paid customs for other users, do nursery requests, and really whatever else you're comfortable with that might be needed! we can't wait to see what you'll make

RULES:

1. designs under here do not need to follow species lore. go crazy!
2. all designs made here are real and we encourage you to use them as your own character or rehome them! we do not want anybody's effort to go to waste.
3. if rehoming/adopting out a design you've made under the artist search, please keep in mind that it should be free. everything else (such as the type of competition, who gets the design, etc etc) is up to you!
4. you can make entries that are off-base if you wish but in order to be selected we require at least one entry on the base.
5. there is no limit to entries or a required number of entries, but please do not use this as a substitute to the MYO thread and only make entries here if you're sure you'd like to help us out with the species!
6. line edits are encouraged but not required. as long as your little guy still looks like an offpossum and not an entirely different creature, anything goes.
7. feel free to include seperate unrelated art and design examples

★ Hello all! Welcome to our artist search! ★

I am looking to add a few more members to our artist team. I hope you have fun and
I can't wait to see what you create! Feel free to customize lines, or add your own ideas
to the seasonal traits! I just ask that you keep the seasonal traits with their respective
variant. For example, a Winter variant cannot have wings (Summer) or gills (Monsoon).
All of the layers and traits have been drawn in, with the exception of the spring traits,
and few winter traits. This sis because spring glow and overgrowth are customized to
each Veridian. And the same reason for the winter traits frostbitten and flurries.
If you have any questions, please post them here!

Rules
★ You may make cover to hold all of your entries if you would like.
★ Make up to FIVE entries - One of each variant (Spring, Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Winter)
★ Put the Variant type in the title of each entry.
★ Feel free to add any seasonal traits, or keep them plain.

Here is where you can find the traits listed out. There is a mistake on this list! Luminescence is a Monsoon Trait, not spring!

They are an Autumnal Variant. They have custom fur and a custom tuft thanks to the mohawk. They have bear ears, and short horns. And lastly, they have quills and little teeth!

You can choose to make Adopts, Breedings, or both if you'd like!

You must have a user archive in our archive page (forum linked on the main page) and link it on all of your entries.

You must make at least 3 entries before being considered. Cannot be under a cover, previous entries should be linked on newer entries.

Keep the FAKE sign visible.

If you'd like to allow your entry to be claimed with a myo ticket by others, please state such.

You may not use these to create your own Dorkkitz.

Artists get 1x Shattered Star Shard upon hiring, and 1x common myo every 2 free adopts or 2 free breedings. Once two of a certain myo is obtained they can be traded for a myo of a higher rarity.

Artist Entry Rules

Do you want to help Sommi find their new homes out in the world? Have a creative itch that sleepy psychic bears can sratch? Then you'd be a perfect fit for our artist team!

Requirements for Staff are making One free adopt/ nursery batch minimum every three months, and helping to approve myos and nursery batches^^

Notes for Trying Out:
Do not remove the fake or signature sign.
Don't color this base in just for fun, please keep it to entries only
Feel free to experiment otherwise! I'd like to see what you can come up with!
The base was made with a size 3 round pen brush, with scatter set to 50-60.

Gulf Sand Arabians [GSA] are a talented breed. They excel the most in endurance riding, although many are great in other disciplines. Gulf Sand Arabians may come in many natural coat patterns and colorations, with rarer markings and mutations occurring occasionally. No less than 13 hands and no more than 16 hands may occur, though a select few have been recorded to be 17 to 18 hands high. The height range of this species can differ greatly from horse to horse. Gulf Sand Arabians additionally, have many of the characteristics of normal arabs. Including an unusually high tail carriage, small but dense skeletal structure, and a shorter height. Most Arabians have black skin under their coats, which provides protection from the sun. Finally, their mane, tail and coat are incredibly soft and glossy

The Huntsmen community is now seeking artists!

You may make an unlimited amount of entries and you may not touch the fake sign. Once the myo system is complete, that will also be integrated :3, allowing the community to bring these fake designs into the system if the artist allows.

If two parents are different, they will produce one offspring from each species

No accessories will be passed down

There is no limit on how many entries you can make, but you may not enter when it is closed

Artist Rules

• Artists are required to be courteous
• An adoption form must be included in all adopts you make - it can be found on the main page
• Text talk is fine, but your message must be readable lol

Artist Information

• Line edits are fine
• There's no minimum number of adopts you must make per month - just do whatever you're comfy with
• Artists do not have to participate in the roleplay community at all
• Artists do not have to have a high artistic skill level, but must at least be able to name the coat they are making
• A phenotype (coat colour's name, ex. "bay, cremello tovero, smoky black, etc.") must be included in your application - genotypes are not necessary

Artist Application: How-to

To apply, please colour this image in and create a cover. This is where you're going to post all of your applications.
On your main cover post, please fill in the application form in the next section.

You are then going to design at least two (2) different horses. At least one (1) must be on the adult lines.

Once you are ready to have your application processed, please message ♥ vibrissae (that's me!) that you're ready. I swear I'm not mean - if you'd prefer not to have 1 on 1 interactions, it's okay to just mention it on your cover. Your form may take longer to process, though.

If approved, you may keep any designs that you have made.

Please do not remove the fake sign. Artists are hired based on creativity, not prior experience. Making more entries will thus increase your chances of being hired. If you do not get hired, don't guilt trip or beg to be on the staff team, do not throw fits and don't harass any staff members. There is good reason for any hire and some people just won't make the cut.

(and yes i will be making the cover prettier at a later time)
