Prompt: Firecracker got her name from an emotional moment in her life. Even know she was a happy outgoing puppy, her mother eventually died. She promised her mother she would do anything for her, even dodging a dangerous fire caused by teenagers lighting up fireworks. She chased after the teenagers while they were throwing, you guessed it, fire crackers. They burnt when it touched her skin and pawpads but she pushed through. She did it to protect her little home and the grave of her mom. Eventually she knew she had to go, causing such a reckless mistake the pup would be sent to the pound. She wandered for days and eventually made it to the farm, with much relief.

Prompt: Blaire felt every emotion running through her as she looked at the pup. The pup was perfect in her eyes. Those little horns just made her look even more perfect to Blaire. Blaire already knew what she’d call her, too, if the pup could be hers. She’d call her Rosetta, for the coloration of the pup. The thing she felt most right now was love and wonder. She already loved the pup, and wondered how such a beauty could exist. She hoped the pup would love her, and wondered if they’d let her adopt her. She truly hoped so. She wanted to be the one.

Prompt: she wandered on to the big field slowly, her eyes watering and her stomach growling. “Hello?” She said in a tiny voice. Whisper walked up to the small pup, no bigger than a chicken. “What are you doing here, little one?” The pup looked at her “I dunno.. by brothers told me I wasn’t worthy enough for them, so that made me leave.. I’ve been walking for two moons now” the pup said “oh dear..” whipser muttered “well, let’s clean you up, then talk, ok?” whisper said as she scooped the pup up. After washing the small dog, whisper asked; “what’s your name” “Starry” she replied meekly. “Starry, what a wonderful name” whisper responded. “What would you say to living with me and my mate? He is very friendly.” Starry thought for a second, eyes fixated on a shiny beetle. “Yeah, that would be nice” she responded after a few seconds.
