When your eyes open, the first thing you realize is that you don't know where you are. A forest, trees tall enough to kiss the clouds. The soft squeaks of mice emit from the lively brush, but it's dark. Your eyes catch on four cats as they meet in the middle of a clearing, looking ethereal and standing out among the dim surroundings.

"Well, what do you suggest I do? Unsure if you've noticed, but the Sun is kind of, like, my whole thing, dude," a golden tom speaks, narrowing his gaze at the pale cat across from him.

The colorful she-cat next to him, surrounded by animals and shrouded by flowers, whimpers in response, burrowing her face into the pelt of her leaf-ridden friend. Ey simply lays eir chin atop her head, face crumpled in melancholy.

"If you need them so much, how about you go get them?" Jack deadpans, their face emotionless as they return Aine's harsh glare with a passive one of their own. "Wouldn't bother me."

Your head turns at the soft clearing of a throat, eyes widening at the sight of a golden tabby. "The Sun has disappeared from this forest, taking the day with it," Angelquartz explains, with a furrowed brow. "The Seasons haven't been able to stop fighting since."

There's a pause, then they speak again. "They need your help, if you're willing to provide it. Bring back the Sun so that our Seasons may survive."

Rules:

• Please fill out a sign up form before participating!
  
• Don't post if a booth/thread is closed! You can check which activities are open on the calendar, the activities thread recent announcements, and on the booth threads themselves.
• Event currency (moonflowers, sunflowers, wishing well coins) cannot be exchanged between users.
• Some event-exclusive shop items may be account-locked.

Info:

• First, sign up and pick out which of your cats you'd like to participate in the event with! If you don't own a Stars cat yet, there are NPCs available ^^
• Through daily prompts and activities, you can earn event currency (moon/sunflowers) to buy Stars items from the event shop! Some of these items are event exclusive 👀 Every activity you participate in will also earn you a wishing well coin for RNG-based prizes at the end of the event.
• Daily story updates and prompts will be posted here! Check out that thread to stay up-to-date with the storyline, and this post to see the calendar with each day's schedule.

Event Currencies:


Moonflowers and sunflowers are the standard event currency / tokens you'll find! They're the reward from every activity and booth, earned via RNG or effort. Which one you earn will depend on weather that day (see the above post or the calendar below), but they will function as one shared currency in the event shop. At the end of the event, flowers can be exchanged for various Stars items in the shop. Some of these items are rarer and event-exclusive! They can also be used to buy extra wishing well coins at a rate of 5 flowers = 1 coin.


Wishing well coins are used for chances at RNG-based prizes at the end of the event. You earn one coin for every round of every activity you participate in, so they'll add up quick!

[I Like Bees]

To participate in Neverending Night, you must pick a cat from one of your clans to visit the fae forest! You'll answer prompts and participate in activities as if this cat is visiting. If you do not have a cat yet, feel free to use an NPC for this event -- anyone except Angelquartz (#10) is available!

Make sure to keep the link to your sign-up handy, as you will need it for activities!

Sign-ups are open through the entire event and do not close! Signing up late is totally fine ^^
