She brought the clipping-saplings as a gift to the school, pressing them deep into the hill she first stood on when she was only five and visiting Angelic Death for the first time. But... they were trampled. They only lasted a year, as important and precious as they were to Tangerinevein, and she feels like it's a bit of a sign. Maybe she doesn't belong here, after all...

Ally went out to a nice little shopping market just to look around, but she ended up finding a cute toy at one of the shops. It was shaped like a doughnut but it was hollow with a opening in the middle around the edges. There was a ball inside and Ally enjoyed playing with it for a while.

While Ally was playing, she thought of just how much her sister, Zoey, loved doughnuts and decided to buy it for her. "This will be perfect!" Ally said to herself.

Ally wrapped it and waited for Zoey's birthday, but unfortunately Zoey passed a few weeks before her birthday and Ally was unable to give her the gift. The gift ended up staying in its wrap, eventually getting lost in the attic after Ally moved it.

What is the gift- The gift is something quite ordinary at first glance, just some simple flowers wrapped in vine. But to him it means much more, every flower chosen for their meaning and the vine that reminds him of the cat he plans to give it to. Daisies, honeysuckle, red tulips, and apple blossoms, “I love you truly, with deep affection I declare my love to you as the one I put before all”.

who is the someone- Athos is giving his gift to the first cat he met from this clan, the one who convinced the leader to let him in, the kindest cat he has ever met, Kore.

did everything go according to plan- Athos gave Kore the flowers with a shy smile that turned awkward when he realized she didn’t know what he meant. She was happy with the gift, wrapped it around her neck with a bright smile but no deeper recognition. Before he lost his nerve he asked her to show her sister the gift, told her that the flowers had a meaning for her to decipher. She took the bait of a game and ran to the medicine cat den. When she came back it was with a sweet smile and the words she felt the same.

the gift was a carefully curated seashell necklace made of stolen pirate rope that was thin and frayed, with a pale white spiral shell of a hermit crab. created for beach where waves crash, his diligent mentor, it took him a few moons to find the perfect shell that fit her taste. he had lots of early mornings sitting on the many beaches waiting for them to scuttle out of their hiding places. digging here and there, with muddy paws and sand filled ears.

though upon presenting the gift to her, he did so without grace or fanfare. he actually tripped on a stray pebble, injuring himself which put him off of training for a while. luckily it was only himself that was injured with the necklace still intact and clutched tightly in his jaws. she accepted the gift none the less, admiring her to-be’s show of gratitude for the grueling training of a warrior.
