Welcome to the customs thread! Here you may redeem tickets to create your own Cream Cat or have one designed by an official artist. This is also where transfers are tracked!

MYOs

• MYO (make-your-own) Cream Kitties can be created with the usage of a MYO ticket, acquired from the shop or via events/giveaways.
  
• You may comment here & request to be added to create your MYO after receiving your first MYO ticket!
  
• MYO Cream Cats may not be considered official or used in any species mechanics (such as the nursery) until having been approved by a staff member.
  
• MYOs can be designed by yourself or for you by another user!
  
• Work-in-progress MYOs posted under this topic must be finished within a month of posting so as to avoid cluttering the thread. You are free to work on your MYO in your drafts for as long as you like!
  
• Staff members are entitled to one free myo per calendar month, as long as they’ve participated in the species (by making/judging an adopt, running event booths, writing announcement blurbs or suchlike) that month.

Customs

A custom is a Cream Cat created by an official artist / staff member to a user’s specifications.

• Any Cream Cats staff member may choose to open up free or paid custom slots whenever they like.
  
  > Artists may not accept any real-life currency in exchange for Cream Cat designs. Payment must be in chicken dollars, cs pets, art & suchlike.
  
  > There is currently no limit to how many customs an artist can take on at a time, but please be mindful of the workload you’re putting on yourself.
  
• It is up to the artist how many details users should include in their form / how much artistic liberty to take. Details about a specific artist’s rules/preferences will be detailed in their post when they open slots.

Transfers

If you own a Cream Cat / Cream Kitty from a previous iteration of the species, you have the opportunity to transfer them to our current lines and use them in species mechanics once again!

• Transfers function similarly to a regular custom/MYO and all above rules apply, though transfers do not require a ticket by default.
  
• All traits/edits related to candy/desserts (drizzle, sprinkles, candy toppings etc) may pass automatically. If the CC you’re transferring has any other (non-dessert) edits, you can pick one to carry over to the transferred version.
  > You’ll have to use an edit item (as with a regular MYO/custom) to include more edits / raise the rarity beyond that!
  
• A transfer should not majorly alter the character’s original design, though small tweaks are allowed to a degree (here is a visual example).
  
• You will also be required to provide proof that you own the CC you’re transferring. This can be a link to your post on the CC’s original adoption page, a screenshot of PMs with the previous owner discussing the trade (with usernames clearly visible), a screenshot of a toyhouse ownership log or some similar record.

Hello all! We are stoked to announce that Cream Cats transfers are now open! 🎉💕

For basic information on what transfers are, I direct you to the main post above; please make sure to read the rules thoroughly.
Esentially, you will be able to bring in old Cream Cats / Cream Kitties from previous versions of the species, so that they’re able to be used in the current version’s mechanics (such as the nursery)!

Currently users will be limited to standard transfers only (= no usage of edit items allowed, as they’re not available yet), and may make two per calendar month so as to avoid staff overwhelm.

To be added to this thread, comment below with a link to at least one old CC/CK currently owned by you!
