Their velvety feel yearning for her warm embrace. Her pillow with the fresh case felt cool to the touch. It didn’t matter what side she’d flip it to, both sides were a comfortable temperature. And last but not least her blanket. Stitched an woven perfectly by hand. When wrapped up inside it’s impossible not to feel snug as a bug. Her bed almost seemed to whisper out to her. “Come home.. we miss you.” She was so caught up in her daydream she didn’t even notice her boss walk up. “Hey uh, you alright Manuka?” She snapped back to reality. “Yeah! I’m good! I’m just a little tired that’s all!”
