Zaizy crouched low in the tall grass, her bright wings tucked close. She had tracked Reynard, the fox-like winged cat, for days. He had stolen fish, swiped berries, and even snatched flecks from an innocent wolf. Enough was enough.
Zaizy had crafted a plan. Reynard had one weakness—his love for shiny objects. If she could outwit him, she could finally catch him.
She perched on a branch, placing a gleaming silver pendant in a shallow pit covered with twigs and leaves. It smelled of fresh fish—irresistible bait.
Soon, leaves rustled. Reynard’s sleek ears twitched as he sniffed the air, blue eyes narrowing. He crept forward, wings tucked tight.
With a final glance, he pounced.
Snap! The twigs crumbled, and Reynard yowled as he tumbled into the hidden pit. Zaizy swooped down, grinning as she perched on the edge, tail flicking playfully.
“Well, well, Reynard,” she purred. “Looks like someone’s been outfoxed.”
Reynard huffed, shaking dirt from his fur. “You wouldn’t leave an old friend trapped, would you?”
Zaizy tilted her head. “Only if you promise to return the flecks from the wolf and stop stealing.”
Reynard sighed. “Fine, fine. You win this round, Zaizy.”
She tossed down a vine. As he climbed out, she smirked. “Next time, try not to be so predictable.”
Reynard flicked his tail. “Next time, try to keep up.” With a wink, he darted into the shadows. But Zaizy knew—this was only the beginning of their game.

Guardian's Name: Arrow
Art / Prompt : Arrow ran along above the bandit, jumping across branches. He easily kept up with the escaping thief. As they reached the edge of the forest Arrow quickened his pace and leaped from a branch, spreading his wings to glide and then quickly diving to the ground in front of the bandit. Startled that he had been followed this far, the bandit skidded to a halt, flattening his ears and backing away from Arrow. Arrow puffed his chest and stalked closer, his tail flicking back and forth menacingly. The bandit turned to run but Arrow was faster and dove at him, knocking him to the ground. He had the thief pinned. "Return the flecks." Arrow hissed. Seeing that Arrow was quicker and better equipped for a fight, the bandit reluctantly released the flecks from his jaw and surrendered. Arrow stepped off him and, after a a bit of convincing, the bandit decided to follow him back to camp and meet some of the other forest cats.
