clan link: tbnwhy is this cat so grumpy: Parsley keeps calling Buffy an fluffy unicorn, as if they're some kind of cutesy multicolored horse with a magical horn! What's a up with that? Why does everyone keep calling ver adorable for? What entitlement do they have do measly kittens have to pull at zhir cheeks, for grown cats attempting to braid faer pelt with frilly adornments?! Buffy were once the most powerful cat on earth, a horror to the deities above! A terror to the seers that dare to stir up prophecies! A cat whom downed bloodthirsty beasts just because they looked at her funny. Drenched thon claws in the blood of a thousand enemies, and now cats reduces fae to a mere sparkle pony?! How dare these mortals talk so lowly of them!

name: cherryblossom
gender: molly
clan link: thunderlandswhy is this cat so grumpy: Cherrykit was born on a soft spring evening, the first warm day of the coming Newleaf. The hibernating creatures were just beginning to emerge from their dens after the long winter, and the buds on the trees seemed to hesitate, wondering if it was time to absorb the sun’s energy. The snow and ice atop the mountains began to melt, and the mountain streams grew from gentle trickles to roaring flows, swelling with the coming season.
From the very moment she was born, it was clear Cherrykit was different. She was a bright, snowy white—like the melting snow of the mountain peaks, and unlike any of her siblings. Her mother named her Cherrykit in honor of the cherry blossoms that had bloomed that day. As she suckled at her mother’s side, a delicate pink petal from the nearby blossoms landed on her pure white fur. From where the petal touched her, a streak of pink hairs began to grow down the length of her back, from the top of her head to the end of her back.
When the kits began to open their eyes and explore, it became more apparent that Cherrykit was different. While her siblings played together in the camp's main clearing, she didn’t notice that she wasn’t quite keeping up. However, the warriors watching from the sidelines noticed immediately. Though her playful spirit remained the same, Cherrykit was noticeably smaller than her siblings. There were murmurs among the clan members, whispers of concern among the older warriors. They comforted her parents, assuring them that she was simply a late bloomer and would surely catch up in time.
But as moons passed, that moment never came. By the time Cherrykit neared six moons, it was evident she had not grown at the same pace as the others. She was half the size of a normal apprentice. The clan healer, old and weary, suggested she might never be fit for the warrior life. “She will be nothing more than an extra mouth to feed,” they said, dismissing her potential. Her mother, determined to shield her, became overly protective, keeping her close and limiting her outings. But in doing so, she only heightened the growing rumors. Cherrykit soon realized why she was being treated differently, and the weight of those unspoken judgments began to press down on her heart.
Stormwatcher, the Thunderlands leader, had heard the rumors, but he refused to believe them. He saw something in her that others overlooked. In a public ceremony, he announced that Cherrypaw would be his personal apprentice. The gathering was filled with scoffs, glares, and low murmurs. Her siblings said nothing, but for a brief moment, jealousy flashed in their eyes. The older apprentices, confident in their strength, held back mocking smiles, eager to watch the small kit fail.
Over the next three moons, Stormwatcher taught Cherrypaw the ways of hunting and fighting. He did not go easy on her. Instead of ignoring her size, he adapted his training to help her use it to her advantage. He taught her to target vulnerable spots in battle, like the belly, where she could strike with precision. He showed her how to crawl through rabbit holes and pull out prey, how to hook minnows from the mountain streams using her small but nimble paws. Stormwatcher even taught her to roll in the mud, hiding her white fur to make her less visible to predators when she patrolled the mountain cliffs. Though she was smaller than her peers, Cherrypaw excelled in ways they couldn’t, and in time, she began to win against them in certain training drills.
When she finally reached her warrior ceremony, she was given the name Cherryblossom. By then, Cherryblossom had learned that while she might never be the largest or fastest warrior in the Thunderlands, she had her own strengths. She could navigate the dens and narrow spaces with ease, things her larger kin could never do. She had learned to listen to the whispers of the wind, to feel the subtle tremors of distant thunder, sensing what others could not. Her small size, once a disadvantage, became her greatest asset. She moved with the wind, agile and swift, while others fought against it.
But she hadn’t gotten here without struggle. Every step of the way, Cherryblossom had fought for her place in the clan. From the teasing of the older apprentices to the doubts of the clan, she had to battle the judgment and underestimation of others. Every small victory over the world around her fueled her determination.
Her grumpiness wasn’t just a sign of bad temperament; it was a declaration of survival. It was her way of saying, "I am not what you think I am. I will carve my own path, no matter the obstacles." She had been underestimated, overlooked, and ridiculed, but each day she proved that she was more than just the small cat with the pink mane. She was Cherryblossom, a warrior in her own right. And she would continue to fight for her place in the Thunderlands.

again. No cat seems to understand that Cell's abilities are most useful when she's not guarding the rift between the two factions! She'd rather be cooking in the faction's kitchen, using the new water-based variant of Mutated Vole in a dish to ensure it was safe for her faction to eat. Tino isn't saving lives out here, but he
would be saving lives back in camp.
Hi, I'm Mahogany! I use he/vey/sun <3 I like character creation and Warriors. Sometimes I like to take pictures, although I wouldn't really call myself a photographer. The leaves here are actually two halves of a picture I took in Germany!
I love plants, meteorology, animals, water, chemistry, the wind... pretty much anything you'd learn about in a science class!
