✦What are Wind Reapers? - - - - - - - - - -

Wind Reapers are a species of dragon that inhabit high ground, most
commonly seen on mountain peaks. Their long, thin body allows them to
maneuver steep slopes and jagged cliffs with ease. With their strong back
legs, they can easily climb trees and make amazing leaps. Although they
are unable to fly, their light body weight allows them to glide, with help
from their high jumps and long tails. Their tails are very flexible, helping
them climb and glide.
Despite their appearance, most Reapers are relatively timid and shy. They
are loners, however occasionally enjoy a friends company. They mate for
life due to their lack of trust for others, and can live for up to 30 years.

Where they're from:
Igorus came from a dark cave above a forest amongst the cliffs. He was born and raised there then left when he became am adult. He loves dark caves, so he ended up making his home in another one. This one is in another forest, with mountains behind it and a beautiful river.

“where I’m from? well…I’ll tell you if you’re willing to hear it.”
they flicked their tail, and sighed wistfully. “I grew up in one of those tidal caves on the beach. this beach in particular had the most beautiful view of the sunset. it made the waves look golden when the sun set. I’m pretty sure no other beach will ever have the same view. or maybe i’ve just never visited any other beaches before…”

*they pause for a short while before speaking again.*

“I miss my old home, you know? i know i found another place to live. this canyon.” they tapped the rocky ground with a claw. “but I had to. after all, the cave did collapse.”

“why are you staring at me in such disbelief? oh. yeah, i know it’s an unusual place for a wind reaper to live.
but honestly…i don’t like living in high places. i find them too high, too secluded and too well, lonely.”

they let out a soft, lonely chuckle. “…and that’s it. now I just reside in this small cave in the canyon. i can still see a view of the sunset from here, but it’s not as beautiful as the view back on the beach. the salty scent of the ocean…”


“oh well. i might have gotten carried away. there’s no time for any more reminiscing. I’ll…see you around.” they whispered, and they slowly glided away, off into the sunset.

Ulruru

Hahana was born on the Ulruru mountain, in Australia. When she was young she and her siblings use to race on the cliffs of the weird mountain. The race started at the bottom of the mountain and concluded at the bottom on the other side. It was a long extenuating race, but it was really fun! She moved away from her birth place, but that is, and always will be, home for her.
