Her mother always told her she was named after a lucky rabbit's foot. It was always such an odd thing for her mother to say, in Rabbit's opinion. After-all, why name her after someone's foot? Was she meant to be flattered by the notion that she was named after some crusty, muddy foot? And why was it lucky? A rabbit caught was an unlucky rabbit, and she couldn't imagine the poor mite felt lucky to have lost its foot - if it had indeed lost just the foot. Of course, this galvanised Rabbit to try and mimic rabbits in some sort of other way - that she could claim she were named for agility, for speed or for how high she can leap.
