Incidentally, it's when the world is at it's most quiet, that it is the most loud. His thoughts run wild, and there isn't very much he can do about it. He'll take walks sometimes, through the camp, and into the grove. He'll watch the sea water lap at the bank, noticing how the moon pulls at the tides; and he'll watch the night creatures flittering about, a completely different ecosystem than that of the daytime hours. It's peaceful, in theory. He supposes he should be appreciative of the time that he has alone, as those moments are few and far in between, and he can see the world when everything is at rest. But he just wants to sleep.
