he showed up to the clan one day, having escaped from his twoleg home and followed the railroad track out of town. his strange knowledge of healing and his habit of carrying flowers in his fur to ward off disease intrigued the clan cats, and quickly they started to believe that he was sent by the spirits to take care of them.

the clan taught him about their beliefs and traditions, so he began to collect cardinal feathers as well to honor the ancestors.

stitch seems to be proud of his roots though. he refused to take on a clan name and insists on wearing his bandana at all times, even if it gets dirty. he may have left them behind, but he wouldn't want to forget about the housefolk that raised him.
