"Ah," a baritone voice starts, watching you enter his little nook of a cave. "you must be the new recruits i was expecting. y'see we are a little short-staffed at the moment; and need some new folk to come and spelunk with us." he drawls, picking up some pickaxes and setting them in his cart. "me? oh, i'm just here to make sure all you recruits get to the main cave safely. can't have anyone getting lost with no gear now can we?" the large sima muses, bringing over a mining helmet; a sack with a map; and a pickaxe and shovel. "now, what's your name?".

Here members can make a sima to go explore the lost cavern with!

GENERAL;;


- these myos are NON-OWNER or owners of 2 simas maximum only.
- unused myo tickets, pending breedings, or concepts do not count towards this rule.
- physical simas (whether unapproved or not) DO count towards your limitation.
- you may make 1 per user.
- Non-owners are encouraged to take part in the event to earn items if they want more traits.



WHEN MAKING YOUR MYO;;


- These cannot be primals, these must be regular simas.
- Off-site myos must be posted on the thread and approved there.



ADDITIONAL OPTION: SEMI-CUSTOM;;
- some users have offered to make semi-customs for those who may not be able to make/design a sima themselves.
- non/owners can choose this route: give the artist a palette or moodboard, state which edits you'd prefer, and any other preferences.
- this DOES count towards your 1 myo maximum.
- these are free, you may not pay the staff member in any capacity.



FINISHING YOUR MYO;;


- ALL recruit myos need to be finished before August 1st.
- A current staff member must post an approval your Recruit thread (CS or otherwise) before use.
- SEMI-CUSTOMS do NOT need staff approval (but must have the artist write approved in their post).




Once approved your sima will be added to the Archives.
if you do not wish to have them added, then you may not use your sima within the species in any capacity until it is done.

*A sima can only have one of these jewels, so you’ll have to take your pick.
**A sima can only have one pair of horns under these rarities.
***The crystals/jewels/scales can’t be bigger then a unedited sima’s eye and there should only be small amounts of them.
****minor ear edits cannot be custom. they can however be say: smooth on the inside, adding small tufts, rotating the ears, or other minor edits that dont change the ear structure.

once the event ends, edit items can be added to your recruit if you'd like!

Thank you! I have a quick question, when I started the color in I saw the 'default' jewel (the visible one) is a geode, are we supposed to use that as the default jewel for these MYOs or are we supposed to change it to one of the listed jewel edits? I checked the event threads but didn't see anything saying specifically about it so I just wanted to ask for clarification, sorry if I missed something since I'm not the best at reading between the lines!
