My first batch on here, and one of two circus-themed bunches of sweet little beasts!
The cheerleading mime duo Plusle and Minun, and carousel horse Galarian Rapidash, are up for grabs!
These fellas are a mini contest! The prompt for these three is tell me what their act is! Are they contest
Pokemon? Actual performers? What do they do to dazzle a crowd? 500 word maximum.

You may enter for all three, but must do a separate form for each!
If you win one of nio's pikaclones, you will not be able to win plusle or minun! You may win both, but they may go to separate winners.

prompt: Marcell is the Minun. Together with their sister, Lori, they are a pair of physical comedians & clowns in the vein of Charlie Chaplin, Abbot/Costello, Laurell/Hardy, and Shields/Yarnell (yes, Chaplin isn't a DUO, but... he's funny enough to count as one if you ask Marcell). Don't mistake their drab fur for a lack of personality! In fact, their fur is why the duo developed their act in the first place. As children they were often overlooked amongst their more brightly colored cohorts, so they started acting out to get attention.

Marcell's favorite act is when they stands on top of Lori's shoulders, Don's a wig and a false mustache, and do their trainer impersonation.

Marianne is a simple gal underneath all her flashy appearances.. If being simple to you means dazzling and wowing crowds everyday with her trainer in the international tour they partake in. They started together when they were young and seeing the acrobats and their pokemon in the big city walk across the tightrope and "fly" from one swing to the other. Marianne's main act? Tightroping from one end of the stage to the next. She'd done it again and again, over and over, without fail. And she never got tired of the sound of the crowd letting out their breaths and applauding. A simple rapidash with a love for attention.

Solis' favorite act was coming up soon; the spectacular halftime show. This act plays during the middle of the circus run and it's purpose is to give both the crowd a pause from the circus, buy snacks, refresh, as well as cheer on the other performing pokemon that have yet to do their act. It's a duo act he does with Artis, and the performance wouldn't be the same without him!

The ringmaster was beckoning him and Artis to the circular stage now, behind the red curtains. Solis was ready than he'd ever been, yet Artis on the other hand had a worried look on their face. Solis firmly reassured them, communicating with blue electricity shooting from his cheeks onto Artis' cheeks. He knew how nervous he gets during these shows and he wants to make sure his friend does his absolute best while performing.

Finally, the two pseudo pikachus leaped out from the red curtain into the stage with pompoms equipped. Solis' electrifying attitude shown brightly as he waved around his pompoms. The circus tent was dazzled with blue, red and yellow sparks, generated from Solis and Artis respectively. Loose pompom confetti flew like bird feathers and the tent lit up in sapphires, crimsons, and golds. It felt almost like a light show in the night as the act went on.
At the end of the act, Solis and Artis finish with throwing up both of their pompoms into the air, and electrifying them with a thunder jolt. The pompoms explode into more confetti and fizzle out as the crowd claps.

As a contest pokemon knowing how to wow a crowd is a make-or-break element. Helios is an expert at this, being a national champion of course. The Galarian variant of Rapidash is said to be both prideful and brave, knowing your beauty is ideal for a contest pokemon and Helios knows precisely how beautiful he is. He takes a lot of pride in keeping his beautiful looks just so

For his usual performances, Helios starts by simply pretending to be a carousel pokemon and will then dazzle the crowd by magically coming to life with the use of a dazzling gleam accompanied by fitting music. He will then explore this strange new world aided by the use of the moves fairy wind and psychic. Meeting new pokemon and seeing new sights as he travels. For the finale, he'll encounter the Red Bull (actually a very friendly Tauros that has her coat dyed with pokemon friendly temporary dye) and will fight to retain his freedom (this is a contest-style battle so it's more of how can they show themselves off with their moves rather a true battle!) Helios always wins the battle with a beautiful psycho cut and bows to the crowd as the lights dim and cheers echo in his ears

prompt: Comi and Dee are a part of a comedy trio of friends on a team specializing in slapstick contest battles! They are preformers to the tune of Chip n Dale mixed with Tom and Jerry and are often the rodent tricksters in their act!

They typically preform in a miming fashion similar to old black and white films of the silent film era, a trademark of these contests featuring the team. They usually will bait their opponent into traps and cheer on their partners with great tenacity when a "trick" lands. Comi is often the rambunctious and accident prone character in their acts, and is often the one to discharge energy. While Dee makes shows of electricity by draining the charge from the stadium to produce suitable lighting effects for their acts! She is the strategist and often the brain and more cautious of the two. Sometimes the two are joined by a third member of the team who acts like a Tough bodyguard type character, and other times it's this character that has tricks played on them!

The two have always been in the competitive contest scene, and one could say they were made for it! They come from a show pokémon breeder who was a fan of pokémon with rare features. These two were passed down to the breeder's great grandchild who raised them from eggs, forming a close bond with the pair! The kid became so well known in the show scene that the team gained quite a reputation for their humorous and unconventional contest battles, with their greatest strength and traits were making the audience laugh!

Today, their contests continue on your even still with the pokeémon team thriving and enjoying their act... They think the best part of the day is to fill a totally silent stadium with the sounds of laughter~

The circus tent opens up to silence. The crowds stop their chattering when the lilting music ended so it seemed like you could hear a pin drop in the entire circus. They all wait with bated breath to see what will happen next, after all, people come to the circus to be entertained.

In the blink of an eye, a carousel horse appears in the center of the stage along with a spotlight. The crowd didn't see it move or anyone carry it in. With a swell of strings, the carousel horse turned out to be a Galarian Rapidash as she starts to run in paced loops around the circus tent. It is hypnotizing and the crowd is still silent.

The audience doesn't even notice how the room is changing around them. Fable's wonder room shifts the atmosphere and welcomes them all into a world of imagination! Her pastel veil drifts through the tent and heals any poison or ill will of the pokemon watching the show.

That is not the only thing that drifts around the tent. A Munna and Musharna duo is hidden backstage where dream mist created a pink haze to add to the wondrous atmosphere. Suddenly, the pink haze takes shape into common nightmares, but Fable is there to stop them!

Her pace around the tent gets faster as she uses Swords Dance to create a small halo around her. She takes precise aim with psycho cut to take down nightmare after nightmare. Oh but there are so many of them! A few planted actors start cheering for her until the circus is roaring with noise and she uses fairy wind to dispel the rest.

Munna and Musharna conjure clouds, rainbows and cheery dreams to end off the performance.

Finally, the ringmaster appears on the back of Fable and welcomes them all to the greatest show in Galaria!

prompt: Mami is the more tame one of the two troublemakers. In their acts, she puts on a ditzy, more mature persona that seems to be the one keeping Ami in check. Her favorite act is juggling on a unicycle! She loves the smiles she sees as she performs it, it always is a crowd favorite and a real eyecatcher! A hard-worker, Mami does her best to support her and her best friend.

prompt: Ami is noticeably the energetic one! When performing, she lets her spunky personality shine and she goes all out! Her favorite act is miming, but she also loves to dance! Ami twists the usually tame art of miming into something really energetic, and it works perfectly for her! Ami definitely has a strange sense of humor, and it shows during performances. Mami always has to put her on a leash.

Ami and Mami are street performers! They have a range of different acts, mostly specializing in somewhat crude at times mime acts. They also incorporate acrobats, juggling, and dancing (akin to what you'd see in contests) in their performances! They take on the dynamic of "best friends that always butt heads and cause trouble for the other" when performing. Usually Ami being the one causing trouble for Mami. What inspired them to start performing was circus acts they'd see on television. They originally tried out for a circus after spending hours on end training, but they weren't accepted. So instead, they turned to street performing. It's definitely a competitive scene, so they often find themselves traveling to a new location if one is too populated by other performers. They always come up with flashy acts to add to their routines (which aren't really routines since they're improvised), even going to the lengths of sword swallowing and acts including fire such as fire breathing and jumping through hoops of fire. They often watch circus acts/street performances when they can, usually with the mindset of "we can do that but better", which is where a lot of their new act ideas stem from. They just want to be the best out there! Their biggest wish is to be able to perform in a circus!
