Hazelwolf is agile and cooperative, always lending a paw for their fellow clanmates. They're also a strong and determined senior warrior, but they've been through a lot in their life journey before joining Shoreclan.

For a long time, they were a restless spirit that constantly travelled. As they came to different places, they met a variety of cats from all walks of life. Hazelwolf has had many experiences and often tells the kits of Shoreclan stories. Mostly, these stories are to serve as life lessons. They hope that the kits will aspire to be like them, or at least offer kindness to those in need like they do.

The point of being a wandering spirit was for generosity as well as the experience. They wanted to give all they could to the cats that accepted them with open hearts, which was often in the form of hunting prey. Hazelwolf is humble and always claims that their work is "not that much", but most cats are appreciative of their help. They would stay with different groups of cats for periods of time -- a moon, a half moon, a quarter moon, even two moons. Just working hard and providing for the cats as an extra set of paws. They especially enjoyed spending time with any elders, mothers, and kits.

They have a soft spot for kits. They believe that kits are the hope of the world and the next generation that can make a change.

When they came across Shoreclan, they realized that they didn't want to continue their life of wandering. In fact, they believed that their wandering was done. Hazelwolf spoke to Shellstar and pleaded for a permanent place to stay, offering their skills. The graceful leader accepted, and the senior warrior has lived in Shoreclan ever since. The cat loves sleeping by the ocean, and they adore their newfound family. They would do anything for their loved ones.
