All adopts will be posted under this banner. Adopts will be only real world creatures, but can be combined in the
Lab to form Chimeric offspring.
You can tell which adopts are open because they will have the slate grey background, any colored background indicates it is owned.
When you own a Chimera you will be added to the image and are welcome to add images/information as long as it does not cover up the base design. You can also create 'versions' of the adopt with outfits and post them under your original adopt (check out
Lore because it earns you currency (CUR)!)

What Makes a Chimera? The
Features of a chimera are as follows: Body Covering, Texture Modifier, Color, Color Modifier, Ears, Nose, Eyes, Claws, Tail, Wings, Extras
Body Covering: What covers their base skin
- Examples: Fur, Feathers, Scales
Texture Modifier: Aspects that modify the base body covering
- Examples: Average, Curly, Long, Short, Sparse, Dense, Slimy
Color: A very short description of the colors represented on the chimera
- Examples: Gray Husky, Silver Leopard, Green Spotted -- Note: Very subjective per artist discretion
Color Modifiers: Typically rare aspects that modify the colors of the chimera
- Examples: Iridescent, Melanistic, Albino, Glowing, Leucistic, Xanthic, Axanthic, Erythristic
Ears: Chimeric offspring can inherit ears from either parent, or rarely both!
- Examples: Wolf, Cat, Bat, Slit, Fin, Axolotl, Deer
Nose: Chimeric offspring will inherit a nose from either parent
- Examples: Canine, Feline, Beak, Equine, Insectoid
Eyes: Chimeric offspring can inherit a eyes from either parent, or rarely both!
- Examples: Vertical Slit Pupil, Round Pupil, Horizontal Slit Pupil, Crescent Pupil, Insect Eyes
Claws: Claws are the fingernails of the chimera, offspring can inherit a mix of parent claws.
- Examples: None, Average, Straight Long, Curled Long, Dull/Hooved
Tail: Chimeric offspring can inherit a tail from either parent, or rarely both!
- Examples: Wolf, Cat, Shark, Bobcat, Horse, Lion
Wings: Chimeric offspring can inherit wings from either parent, or rarely both!
- Examples: Bird, Bat, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Moth
Extras: Extras are particularly passable through the offspring process and you can easily end up with multiple sets of extras. This is used to catch other added physical traits like horns, fins and fangs.
