Prompt: addertail's prey is a bit of an unconventional choice, though his reasons for hunting the beast are far more personal than a simple need for food. far too often, addertail sees a buzzard flying overhead, its beady eyes locked on him for hours on end as it circles the air. the constant feeling of being watched by the large bird leaves addertail feeling on edge and jittery, jumping at the slightest sound of a twig snapping, thinking it could be his last moments as the buzzard swoops down to carry him into the sky with it. but addertail has never been one to back down, especially not to a bird so ugly as the buzzard, so he's made it his mission to catch the bird first, before it catches him. he'll spend hours stealthing in the underbrush, waiting for the buzzard to swoop down to the ground so that he may launch a surprise attack.
